Well, mainly updates as in. New android builds. Like Android 3.0 or something. Im pretty sure the Nexus One is going to be the first to get it, maybe among a few phones getting it. The HTC Evo has a chance of getting it if it released in summer. Just makes sense that google would give the update to their own phone first before others.
I know that that's the assumption, but you know what happens when you assume. I mean just look at the DROID 2.1 update. It uses the stock version and has still had its problems. Until it actually happens, I can't bank on the N1 getting the updates by google's command.
I hope that they are able to push out N1 updates (almost) immediately after the update OS version is complete. This would give a big advantage to the Google sold phones, and in my opinion would give them a big advantage to the tech savvy folks who don't necessarily need a lot of carrier customer service support.
