My guess would be a bootloop or a boot hang, I'm not sure. But you definitely need S-off for the downgraded hboot.

Just a heads up for those wanting visual voicemail, I restored the one from midnight rom and it works perfectly.

A heads up to those going to dirty install the update from 8/26, this may just be me, but installing on top of the 8/25 rom caused my google account to disappear from the phone. Adding it back wasn't possible, so I had to flash the ics gapps again. Hope this helps someone.

Yes. That is what happens since the rom wipes system partition. You ALWAYS have to reflash gapps

The built in cyanogen mod settings under the performance tab in settings. Those always seem to work better than third party apps. I've had zero reboots running this ROM. None that I've noticed at least

Does anyone have tips for improving the camera (if possible?) The stock cm9 camera can't compete at all with the stock HTC camera, for regular 2D pictures. But the htc camera is based on sense, and it's closed source. dang HTC. I'm trying to get used to my fuzzy pictures but it's hard.
