I didn't use TB to install maps.

I redownloaded and have had no issues.

Why uninstall tb uninastall using tb. And speed test wont connect anywhere in ca for me still is there a mock location setting that may be on. And ihave a screenshot from co lol its upside down tho

Edit- someone upload a screenshot of the superphone speeds i may reflash and use superphone then v6 it
 
If i just reflash the noob v update will that undo the v6 scripts or should iuse the script to undo itself id prefer to reflash but i am gunna v6 the superphone :)

Already fixed after that first one plus get off wifi lol and no one answered about the un v6
 
so in summary:

n00b V Issue: settings/location and security menu won't load after latest maps app is installed

Fix: uninstall and reinstall network location apk using titanium?

Please confirm.

I also confirmed that the issue did not start until after installing the update that came out yesterday from maps.

Great timing google maps :(

Anyhews, I am going to zip up a full n00b V zip and get that up soonish. I had a lot going on in that zip!

Please do stay on topic, if you want to talk about other scripts please start a thread, you can even call it v6 on n00b for example (not to pick on anyone, I like the discussion, I just don't need this thread getting out of hand) :)
 
I went all the way back to stock to test the maps issue, haven't made it happen again yet so maybe it's something on the ROM after all...

While I am here I might have to check some things out though, I forgot how the phone feels stock LOL
 
Ok guys I've figured out the mystery of what is making location /security not open and force close. I have tested 3 times to recreate the problem and fix it...

The problem is caused by none other than.....(drumroll) fixing permissions in cwm.

So if you fix permissions then you will have that problem. Now to get rid of it just uninstall NETWORK LOCATION and restore it with titanium backup

Problem solved instantly, you don't even need to reboot..

this solved the issue for me as well. only thing is now applying the super phone III update with the noob rom brings back the problem and this solution no longer works for me. also the power control brightness on the widget becomes unusable after going to location and security. however, I may have caused a problem in accidently deleting the network location file permanently and pulling the apk from a backup and reinstalling. this is no problem at all for me like the previous posters, but just fyi
