ok you want to install the .zip of the kernel not the file within the .zip file open cwm look for the install rom from sd card then look for the zip file that has the kernel install the .zip file.... uncheck wipe dalvik cache and reboot when it ask..

ok i see the file you download do not open it just put the file in a folder then put on your phone and install that file.. leave the .zip file untouched do not open the file download and put it onto your phone
 
it doesnt let me zip those files for some reason.. and are you saying the zip file is already in cwm since i extracted it to it?
 
for some reason i could only zip it in a different window? and i zipped it and send it to my phone but when i click on it, it says "rom mangers is unable to open this file.please remove any spaces from your file and folder path. or run it manually via cwm recovery" so once again i assume i missed somthing.

you did a factory wipe.. ok read me... the file you download is already a zip you just need to put it on your phone right after you download do nothing else but download and put on your phone run cwm then install though install rom from sd card....if you got your self up and running after a wipe then this shouldnot be this hard for you..please let me know.
 
i did a back up but i got scared cus i didnt have cwm so i thought it was gone, just had to redownload the bad bitch, thanks
 
btw it tells me to "wipe data, wipe cache wipe dav" but pg said no wipes needed? sorry for being that guy who cant figure shit out lol
 
i downloaded it onto my phone and it installed but when it rebooted it is stuck on this weird box cut out things that just spin around? can someone just shoot me in the face? thanks

yea most times when you load a rom theme or kernel it will take a few minutes to load up the phone after the first install of them files.. glad i could help.. don't worrie about asking anything related to your esteem here there will always be someone to help anyway they can..
 
hey i added this plague a couple months ago, and i was using it as a hotspot (which is only good if im only using youtube on my laptop) nd metro texted me and said "you only have 10% data left, i thought it made it so they couldnt figure out how much data i was using? (even tho they say "unlimited data") and my phone lags all the time i was wonder what i should do...prob just uninstall and reinstall im assuming? -big nasty :smokingsomb:

as I have stated numerous times on numerous threads, there is no way to truly and complete way to hide you actual data use from a carrier. After all all they have to do is monitor ESN's on their network to see who is using what. Now with the unlimited data plan, there is prolly some small print with something about tethering/hotspot. ;)
 
Yes pg is true with what he is saying they can see u on the cell tower you will stand out and then the alert your esn and with that being said i seen a post on this forum about that . You think u can't be seen and bam u the topic of the billing department.:eek:
 
Trut me, and trust those telling you so, THEY CAN see you, they can filter in what they call "The Switch" by what area is using the most data in a city, then what zip within the area, then what area within the zip, then towers within the area, and so forth ; they don't even need your esn or number, it'll just pop up on the graph as the worst offender sort of speak. You can't hide, you can only blend in. Trust me.

How long do you think itll take to complete cm10? and if a little incentive was offered.... how much and with that, how long?
