You going to use it for gaming I assume?

Sent from my Nexus 7

Work, music recording, and a little gaming. I am a computer programmer and with this setup I'll be able to work from home instead of having to call in sick, or if roads are bad in the winter.. and I can work on projects on weekends when I have nothing else to do haha.

Then I also like do my own little home recording with my music so having a little extra computing power is nice.

I originally wanted to be able to play any game I wanted with out worrying about fps lag haha but I got a real job and don't play games quite as often anymore

Looks awesome, your cable management is way better than mine! Where is the PSU hiding?

Up until recently I worked for Velocity Micro, so my cable management had to be as clean as possible. :P My personal machine could be better, but I didn't have zip ties at the time and I'll too lazy to do it now lol.

The PSU is at the top back.

The only computer classes I took were programming because I went for the wrong major, but stayed with it haha. I wanted to go for the major with the classes about building pcs and all that but my high school counselor signed me up for programming instead.. haha but I enjoy what I do

I'm only taking a few computer classes right now, none of them are hardware. Networking and web design.

However, I am about to get a job with a local PC builder, so it's pretty obvious what it is that I want to do lol

I've also taken a few programming classes, but haven't done anything more than basic C++ and Java.

Since my dual core died last year or two ago, I just grabbed this little puppy to hold me over. A HP AMD64 business class machine. I dual boot Mageia 2 and Salix Linux.
