Buddy tells me he just got the word their going to introduce the phone to their general staff this week - so now it looks like it wont be much longer. Wonder how this will coincide with the N1???

Many, many pages ago I had a transcript from an online chat with a CSR who said not to expect the N1 until June/July. I of course pointed them here to learn about this phone, but they at least seemed to know about the N1. Not sure how valid their remarks were, so take it with a grain of salt of course.

Agreed that many at Verizon have never even heard of the Incredible. I asked the other day when I was returning my Droid and her reply was "is that a phone" beit this was some old lady behind the counter. I know for a fact hes testing it, its now in Verizons inventory- you can confirm that yourself, and he got an email stating they needed to be ready to introduce the phone to their coworkers by the end of the week, so i think its starting to fall into place

It may be a lot to ask, but if you could get a new photo/vid to leak I think we'd all be appreciative ;)

Don't think I want you to put your friend's job in jeopardy, no one wants that.

I got the Freedom Pro keyboard for a couple of different reasons. One is that they have/are working on Android specific drivers which are already available in beta but they're promising stable imminently. Secondly, it's the only BT keyboard (AFAIK) that can do both HID and SPP protocols so it's more versatile. I borrowed my husband's i760 that he hates just to try it out over BT and it worked great. So now, I just need the phone to go with it. :)

There's a little more info on the homepage under the newsflash section about the status of the Android drivers. Also, you can find decent discounts from retail price if you look around. I did my best to save my grandmother $$$ on it...LOL!
 
So I talked again with my contact that is with the marketing department at VZW. She told me that they are currently getting ready to shoot a commercial for the Incredible. Not sure how far along they are but she said it is usually a week after the commercial is done when they start airing it. She also mentioned that she doesn't know anything about a name change yet as far as she knows it is still known as the Incredible. I know this is vague but this is all I have right now. I am still trying to find out more.

I will let all of you INCREDIBLE people know when I have more.:)
 
Heh, Im slated to get a new phone this month. Ive only known about the Incredible for about a month. Talk about perfect timing :) oh and my bosses are buying it for me! win win win
 
OK...I chat rep just told me that HTC doesn't make the Nexus One!
