Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Morning all! We are just headed out to start celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday. Hoping the rain stays away till at least late this afternoon.
Ryan - if you read this - Have Fun, enjoy and much love to you and your beautiful bride!!

Hey Captain - you said to let you know next time I'm headed through the Atlanta airport.... I'll be there this coming Thursday but its only an hour and a half layover (if I remember correctly)

Good morning folks!

Well, we did it last night. Sat down and watched 3-1/2 hours of Titanic 3D. It was just amazing. For a movie that wasn't shot in 3D, the conversion is the best I have ever seen. Ever. Heck, it's better than some dedicated 3D content I've seen!

And Trinity Alpha 60 kernel is hungrily sucking battery like OTD at a blood bank.
Need... new... kernel...

Morning Chief! I was getting complete restarts of the phone on the stock kernel for Sourcery 2.3 as well as Lean Kernel 4.3.0. Just flashed the Popcorn Kernel as recommended elsewhere. I will let you know how this one goes.

Good deal - I've never flashed Popcorn or Air kernels.

Guess I don't want an air-popped Nexus :p

But I may have to shop around a bit, since kernels are so dang phone specific... anyway, Lean works well for me, just mediocre battery life.

Kernels are definitely phone-specific. I've been getting just mediocre battery life on LeanKernel ever since I flashed away from stock. I've heard lots of people say they get good battery life on Franco's kernel, maybe I'll try that next.

Yeah I tried franco kernel but battery life on that was worse than Lean. Ah, well,

keep on swimming, keep on swimming...
