Root [Boost Mobile] [ADD-ON] Mercury Sound Pack flashables

Thanks for taking the time to redo this.... I will give it a go this time around. I'm sure it will be way better than stock. Your work is truly appreciated!

Thank you for that! Nice to see folks liking the pack. Life has just been ridiculously busy for me lately... like a dozen computers to fix, troubleshoot and order parts for, run my repair company and hold down a regular job...

Yikes

So you unpack all 4 and then place them individually in each according place? Why doesnt it just replace them when you drop it in media?

Usually what I do is navigate to system/media/audio and select all four folders. Delete them all, then paste in my four folders.

Okay, something kinda important... has anyone lost use of their camera or camcorder after deleting their original sounds and replacing them with mine?

I did it another way. I just dropped each new file on top of their corresponding files and ended up with all the originals AND the new ones. That way I have my originals and all yours also. Plus I was just plain lazy.:D

Plus I never delete system files, I just move or copy them somewhere else, I learned that lesson the hard way.

I always delete system files. It's usually while building though. Then I get a bootloop and go "oops...guess I needed that...."

I'll provably download these sound files after work and look/listen to them. I may steal them for my Rom I'm doing ;) with appropriate credit, of course.

Me: *gasp* Look at all those files in the system folder! I bet I don't need all those. *deletes a file, reboots*
PC: Welcome to Windows 95!
Me: Still booting! Nice, let me delete some more... *deletes five more files, reboots*
PC: Welcome to Windows 95!
Me: Alright! Hmm... bet I could do without all these... *deletes 37 files and 11 folders, reboots*
PC: Welcome to Win *hangs*
Me: Hmph. Musta just got stuck. *reboots*
PC: Welcome to *shuts down*
Me: COME ON YOU PIECE OF JUNK!! *powers on*
PC: Operating system not found. Remove disks from all drives and restart.
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

The flash went perfect. I have them all in their now, quick and easy!!

Good, glad to hear it! It was like 3AM and I was nodding off while I was trying to write the installer-script, so I put all of two whole minutes into it and figured I'd just hope for the best lol I even made my roommate guinea pig it on his Warp!

Yes, this doesn't erase any of your existing sounds :-)

Awesome!! Thanks, just flashed it.... Gotta say tho, the notification "Oh Crap!" is by far THE best sound to ever be on a phone. I feel like Im back playing Metal Gear Solid and I've been spotted!! Gotta find me a cardboard box!! Thanks Merc!!
