honestly, in most cases you wont need to wipe data, usually you only wipe if
a- you messed something up on your device and want a fresh start with a rom
b- you didnt mess anything up, but still want a fresh start with a rom LOL

the only reason i ask you to wipe data prior to install, is just so i know 100% that any issues you may have are from my rom and not a prior issue before the rom :D
 
so one last request i have before continuing with the theme phase, is if someone can post up some screen shots so i can see what it looks like? LOL

I just got off wrk so I gotcha, I took some this morning lol!! I don't knw why but the screen shots are showing up large as hell... so if they take up to much space on this thread let me knw and I'll remove them after you check them out

Lets see if this works instead of posting a few pics try this (LINK) ;) You will notice that one pic shows the call settings option turned black, that's because that's the way it looks when its pressed, also included a pic with the weather being pressed in the dropdwn notification bar and it turns blue.

So this ROM looks amazing. Better than BP and BO in my opinion. 2 questions though:

For the OP: Any probs yet?
And for the users:....any probs yet? XD lol
I really wanna flash a new ROM and this one looks amazing, I just haven't themes on this PARTICULAR phone yet.

So everything is running really smooth. Only thing is when I scroll its not so smooth. It looks like its scrolling in slow motion.... other then that its nice. Thank you:) looking forward to your future updates!
 
yeah guys this is still a huge WIP, hopefully i can solve the lag and other issues.. basically i spent all day yesterday trying to get this to boot and made a custom kernel for it.. now today after i eat dinner and hopefully with a lil help from i friend i know, i can complete the theming end of it and then start ironing out any bugs that may be with the system &/or theme :D going to eat some dinner right now so i shall return :D glad you guys like it so far!!
 
Great job ldrifta!!!!! U knocked it outa the park on this Rom :-) :-) I have been eagerly awaiting for this and now its here :-) the Rom is very fast for me and smooth the only thing I would like that's different is in the pull down notifications bar and in other areas where its like grey on grey text and u can't read it but other than that great job bro and thank u for u hard wrk and dedication in making #2 available to us connect owners :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
 
This is fantastic! Everything works wonderfully so far. My only gripe is when you fast scroll to the end of a list, the animation blocks anything else from happening, like scrolling back away (I like playing in menus), and the notification bar doesn't show subtext. My alarm usually shows the title and subtext of the time it's set at, and that's gone even when I press to highlight it

yeah im gonna change the animations, font colors, this color that color etc.. lol it may be a while due to me not having a device for my own testing but ill keep you guys posted on any progress :D thanks for the support!!

o and ill add the visual voicvemail etc..

If you need anything like some testing/screenshots of your "wip" your more then welcome to send it to me via pm if you want it tested before you release it, and again thx for your time and hard wrk.
 
I think I may have found a fix for the laggy scrolling speeds.... I went into Rom toolbox and changed my max events per sec. from the original 180 that this rom/wip comes out of the box with down to 150 and I also changed the density to 195 (not sure if changing density helped cause I did both of these at the same time) and it seams to have picked up some speed when scrolling through menus, and in some of my games that I have, have become less laggy and more responsive... try it out and c if it helps any of yall out :-) :-)
