Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

you will need to take the framework res and system ui back to the uOT kitchen and recreate the circle battery. The old zip will work but you lose some other things that I changed like the power menu changes

you can use it, that's part of the systemUI, which I didn't change from that last update...

fyi guys, I am not going to be providing alternate theme zips like that, you can use UOT kitchen to do the black background/batter very easily now that the systemUI is fixed and wont' cause issues with UOT. It's just too much for me to keep track of, I want to stay focused on the ROM itself.
 
Ill see what I can do this weekend about making the circle battery and black bar for you all. I may even bring some surprises if time permits. :D

I for one truly appreciate your rom brotha and its a great one! My girl couldn't play some games on her Warp so I finally talked her into letting me beat it up some and make it think otherwise and n00b is what she's running. She's VERY happy that she can run ALL of her games where stock failed.
 
Day one of running noob VI and working great, seems the 3g/wifi issue is gone, everything is working perfectly man, great job......;)

I might be able to do a public mobile update for you to fix what's broken... maybe we could start a n00b ROM thread over on the public mobile site. PM me with the issues and we can get started talking about it, let's not clutter this thread with public mobile issues though.
 
How many people on here are running public mobile? I wish the US had something like that because even Boosts shrinkage plan I'm on doesn't get that cheap
 
my phone works when it wants as in phone calls get sent directly to voicemail or says sorry this call can not be completed as dialed. Really annoying.

not to be a boar, please move this discussion elsewhere, this ROM is not for Public Mobile yet, I will put up a thread over there later and am looking into a ROM for you guys.

It's in the extended power menu. Hold your power button down and you'll see it as long as you've installed n00b VI. If you don't see it then you probably installed a different version or something.

I'm not entirely sure what your asking but if it's what it sounds like you may think to reconsider because it doesn't sound very nice to put on a thread for a ROM that somebody worked very hard on and we all fully appreciate with much fanfare. You have the benefit of the doubt though. :D Please clarify
 
I think he is just wanting a custom splash screen. The first one is easy too change but the one for the kernel is a pita.
 
@ uknow I thought you were referencing the oc. Glad I gave the benefit of doubt! I think there's a thread on this forum somewhere I recall seeing to help you on the splash image :)
