I am not quite ready to let this out for testing yet, doing some last minute changes

Project Infinity... Dream Big

Last night while working on a nightly build. I the seem to have come across a secret when compiled into the kernel. Seems i have much higher signal and my 3g seems maxed out at aroumd 400kb per second. This has never happened untl now

If you had found the secret and keot it a secret, we wouldn't care, because we didn't know. But you found a secret, and told us you did!! Now, you cannot hold back on a secret you told us was secret!! Spill the beans!!! :D

I may be wrong but iread it like hes saying hes got a great signal but something is caping him to slower speeds. I.e. The secret.

Yikes...i average 700+ and ive peaked around 1.6 gb/s

kB/s is different from kbps. This is why I asked to begin with. I average 1100 kbps which is around 140 kB/s. If I read the poster correctly he is talking about kbps and those speeds are average.

Seems now i have done the impossible. I got curious so i unpacked the official zte kernel source. Not hroarks soir e. The official zip files from zte. And lo a behold. It compiled and built and running kernel. Iam writting this from that kernel right now. Though. Hroarks source seems to produce a faster kernel. Hmmmm interesting

They rereleased they're source a couple of months ago. Its pretty much the blade plus source

Boost is moving its 3g over to wimax network. Sprint is going from wimax to lte

Ok, regardless the warp still dosent support wimax and never will. Winmax is dying...they wont increase the wimax infrastructure. Eventually you will see boost on lte....just not anytime soon.

I agree. They r keeping it up until 2015. Boost is using it for 3g aswell as virgin mobile. Just cant see how it made my signal better

Kbps.. i downloaded 1mb in about 2.5 seconds

This would not constitute WiMax 4G speeds. So I highly doubt this has anything to do with WiMax. I have had WiMax before and it is faster than that. Like I said I average around 1100kbps or 140kB/s on this device with full signal. Those speeds will complete that 1MB download in roughly the same time depending on the server of course.
