That would be a great surprise, but honestly, I just don't see them doing that.

that pretty much negates any benefits of having the service right there.

I have unlimited 3g Mobile Hotspot, so I hope it benefits me when I get a phone with wi-fi
 
It may be time to lock this thread up again. In the beginning there would actually be real rumors or speculation about the phone and features, release etc....unfortunately now it has become a "chat room" between people. I believe the Forum provides the ability to send instant messages to individuals, I wish people would start to use that feature. It is very annoying to have to read thru 6 pages of people getting Tatooed for being on probation, or people being in the shower, or wanting to sleep with the phone.....get over yourselves. I would hope that most of us are adults and I personally have no desire to read thru your imbicile chats.

It woudl be great if we could get back on topic and talk about the Incredible and new news surrounding the phone. In reality 35% of the posts on this forum are about the phone, the other 65% is people chatting. If you have information post it...if you want to have "fun" with your friends IM them so we all do not have to read thru the menutia...

Afternoon guys...I can honestly say have had an April Fools free day so far. :)

Our company is a decent sized VZW customer (around 450 employees with about 350 BBs on plans) and we told them we are considering alternatives to the BB platform.

I spoke with one of the tech guys who works for our Corporate Regional Sales Mgr (whatever she's called) and he told me that he has no idea when the incredible is going to come out but he was strongly under the impression that the Nexus 1 was going to be released first.

He then proceeded to try and talk up the DROID....

He told me he'd call me if he heard any new information though he did say I'd probably hear something on the blogs before he would....

If I'm reading the offer right, it doesn't look like you get a free MiFi, you get the "Mobile Hot Spot" for free which is just an App that allows you to bridge your 3G Connection to the WiFi on the Pre. It would allow WiFi Tethering of any other device to your phone.

Apparantly, "fun" has been outlawed in your town. Tragic. Without having the personalities of people such as Steven and Kappy, this thread would be as dry as your post (which was really enlightening regarding new, pertinent info on the Incredible, by the way).

I don't wanna be cliche but what the hell, Long time lurker first time poster. I have been on here religiously, literally, I have a calculus homework to do but screw it, I know what's most important... the INCREDiBlE. I just felt I should make my presence known because this is honestly the best forum I have ever been in!! :)
 
I am going to be driving for 6 hours from Pitt back to Jersey and I am dreading how many pages I am going to have to go through.

I feel terrible that I can't report anything back to you guys.:(

No one is forcing him to be here, but someone SHOULD be forcing some folks to stay on topic, since that is supposedly the purpose of this board. It is pretty damn lax.

I agree that there are a lot of fun and interesting people here, but to be honest many of us aren't here to meet people -- we're here to get information on the Incredible, since this *is* the "Official HTC Incredible Thread".
