lol no no I am being serious. I will try my best to remember and the color thing could help a lot for the people who hate us and just want info (jk jk you guys ;)) But I'll try to do that,

I vote UNC blue, I know there is that tarheal fan out there who hates me, so let's do UNC blue for NEWS posts.

If you can remember and want to try it that is.
 
CAN EVERYONE, JUST DROP the freaking complaining and crap...........honestly, though we can have some fun on this thread. Im pretty sure the thread can be locked for all this new crap coming up, abusive etc....and if we keep it up, im gonna bet we do get locked up.

True, true. It looked pretty legit tho.. Is there a program you could use that would make it look that legit?

Maybe it wasn't VZWs inventory, but the warehouses???

If I'm not mistaken, you can lock text fields like that from being edited. So while it may look like a form you could change values in, it may not allow you to edit it.

The guy did post additional info regarding the other tabs. He called up his friend and his friend told him that there is nothing under the other tabs, so there's no pricing yet etc....it's a bloody camera phone screenshot, i doubt it's going to be perfectly aligned.

like i said before evergreen doesnt ahve tidbits of solid info that come in like the warehouse status. just phone specs which pretty much havent changed for a while. now if that stuff was updated to the other thread then hell yeah that would be amazing. less nonsense to sift thru

I suppose they could have a manual process using a Microsoft program at the warehouse, but you would think the distributors handling this type of product for such a large vendor would be a bit more technologically advanced lol. I'm not expert on product tracking software, so maybe someone with some experience in that area can chime in and let us know.
 
Is anyone afraid it will be at least two weeks? I'm afraid with the iPad launch coming this Saturday the Apple hype machine is in full force. I know iPad is not a phone, but it's tech which will mean it will lead the mainstream media tech sections for the next week at least. Will Verizon want to fight with that?

Really? I watched since this thread started and it was freakin amazing for news and updates and discussion. Then it got cluttered up with chit chat. The only reason I look here now is for very slight off chance that there is news.

Btw, for everyone saying to get out...if you want to chat, go nuts. Why not do it in a thread in THE LOUNGE? The only reason this thread is still open is because the admins got bitched at so hard after closing it.

It can be different, but under most of the GUI's i've worked with, if you lock a text field, it will gray out or change some of the properties of the control. It's hard to tell what an active one looks like though, so who knows.

It looked like an inventory screen of somesort to me. Whether VZWs or not I dunno. At my job we have an inventory program, I am in it all the time. It looked somewhat similar, principle wise to that. Maybe it was a 3rd party inventory system? The shipping company? HTC? I dunno

Don't like quoting myself, but I still haven't seen an answer, does anyone know?

Even engadget etc ran with the story that it meant there was a warehouse with all these incredibles on hand, I still don't know why we believe that.

Common sense would tell me this was an order to HTC to mass produce, but I obviously don't know the in's and out's of cell phone manufacturing.

This thread is what would happen if hundreds of people got stuck in an elevator together. Some leaders, some jokesters, and a bunch of people who just piss and moan about how all the noise is hurting their ears. Everybody's waiting for some news from the outside world, and every time there's a sound from the outside they've got nothing better to do but analyze it over and over again.

If that sounds like a negative opinion of the situation, it's not -- I enjoy the banter, and I'm just as happy to examine the sketchy, cryptic information we dig up until anything official is announced. But there's no reason for anyone to whine, because as dozens of us have said before, nobody's keeping you here! :-)

it might be in a larger distribution warehouse possibly? not sure what database he has access to

that could be ANY stock/inventory screen. just manually entered data. totally agree with you Kiddp. sadly ...

I could create a believable looking mock-up of an inventory screen in probably 30 minutes. It would be cake. Then just take a picture of my computer screen with my camera. Done. It would be so easy to do and that picture of that inventory screen looks SO simple. I wouldn't believe that screen, personally. That's just my .02 though.
