Root [Boost Mobile] Project Infinity **COMMING VERY SOON**

I meant threat the project infinity kernel has higher over clock speeds than shinjitsu.
On shinjitsu the Max speed is 1804mhz and project infinity's Max speed overclocking is like 1868 or 1874 or something like that but I know that there is at least 60 or 65 MHz difference in the oc speeds on the 2 roms.

I know what you meant. Maybe what I said was a little too subtle. I'll try it this way. The kernel in the awesome Shinjitsu 1.5.2 Stable ROM (by Shinru2004) was created by downthemachine and is also available in his Glitch kernel thread.

Credit where credit is due. ;)

Oh now I understand.

I need annother Warp, for Dev, Testing purposes, i just dont experience the bugs some of you do. so iam unaware of issues sometimes.

I know I must have gotten a good warp that can handle anything lol.

So. Out of curiousity. And because iam a mad scientist. I oc the warp to 2016mhz.... I DO NOT RECOMEND IT. Wasnt stable for long. But it was.cool to do in a super geek kinf of way lol. Jeez. I have no life lol

the newer ones are like that

Hmmmm, i was wondering if the was a way to find out what the production date of my phone is then correlate it against other people phones and those with the real issues. I just got mine and i know they were out of stock at bestbuy where i got it so im fairly confident mines a newer production seeing that i dont have any issues with mine even when stock. I pretty much can throw anything at it without fail. I wonder if the older production phone where just not made well?
Edit: i am ruling out software..... just because everyone got the updates and people were still having issues.

it has to do with the processor MSM8655, not all chips are created equal, and circuitry.

Thank you, in all chips there is variation in tolerances. What i meant thouth is the hardware must of changed along the way. During production certain chip like ram are scourced from one manufacturer then after a while they may be scourced from another manf. What im trying to see if a certain. Date of production has any corlelation on the issues were seen thus bringing to light possible unstable hardware in the phone ie bad/low quality ram in earlier models.

Only variation of hardware that we are currently aware of is two seperate LCD panels... the second version was first sold around February and had screen wake issues with B08 based roms

hey where's some type of screen shots not to be rude but all u doing is talking talking talking we see nothing but words

Have patients. Rember this is done on his own free time. He said earlier he needed to go back to tweak some issues. When hes done i can guarantee he'll let us know.

There isn't any screenshots for my kernel. Unless he wanted to show a picture of the splash, I wouldn't expect any...

compiled new build earlier, seems to resolve most issues, still cant seem to get wifi working, also i took downthemachines advice and lowered the frequency to 1804mhz, this seems to be the max stable frequency for compatabillity with most warps

Keep in mind. This isnt released yet. Still in development. I assure you the project. The kernel
And the rom are real. My testers already have a rough copy of the kernel. I havent released the rom for testing as of yet because i am still working the bugs out of the kernel. I dont want to release an unstable or incomplete product. Dtm has been alot of help in debugging this build.boam sure we can get it figured out.

I'm usually one to ask the same and I had asked here at one point I believe and I havebpersonaly tested the kernal just for reassurence and its nice work

Building more builds tonight, Hopefully this will resolves the issues with wifi and random freezing. seems my source had become corrupt somehow, so a fresh source is used for this. Going to be A more modular kernel than before

If we can get a solid kernel working at 1.8GHz and WiFi, not to mention all the other goodies you've packed into this thing...

I'm hearing a great reason to PARTY!!

i really think the oc is the issue, iam going to rewrite it.
Taking a short break from this, probably a day or 2.
Tonight iam compiling Jelly Bean, so far only Generic-Armv7-a-neon..
also starting on Gingerbread 2.3.7 for the WARP.
The warp deserves AOSP Roms.
we are running 2.3.5 stock, so it would be an upgrade
Only problem iam having, and i know someone here can answer as its simple. is to build for the warp 'or any other device' it wants you to specify a source Repository for the device... would this be Hrorark's warp kernel source repo? or is there an official repository?

Aosp rom would rock.
I was just thinking that was what we needed.

So your trying 2.3.7 aosp for the warp.
Whats the jellybean?

well Jelly bean is my Eventual Goal. gonna take some time. But GB 2.3.7 I can pull off, soon as i refine my kernel, and figure out this Repo thing, i think i have the answer. but iam not a God Yet lol

After sh** tons of research, I believe Downthemachine and i together can get Kernel 3.0 running on the warp,
ZTE Modifies CAF (Code Aroura Forums) Source code for their own.
CAF only makes kernels/roms for qualcomm devices
I have obtained CAF-MSM-Kernel_3.0.1
have to do all the Kconfigs and makefiles, and hacking. but its basicly set up for out MSM8655
Architecture already. have to set up the Board and all that. alot of missing files, but i believe if zte can do it, so can we
