Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Do your neighbors know? I thought that was mandatory considering the history and roots those genres have in your area. :D

I LIVE here, but I'm not FROM here ;)

The only mandate for living in Tennessee is to know the lyrics to "Rocky Top"... which is the State Song. I believe UT Knoxville has a graduate-level course on the correct way to sing both verses and the chorus :p

Woot is awesome - I got my new watch there and I've already gotten quite a few compliments on it today.

Got a Seiko from my wife on our first Valentines day as a married couple, I love that watch. Feel naked without it.

After a couple rocky first seasons, Parks and Recreation is probably one of my favorite shows right now. Hilarious stuff. Hope it can beat out 30 Rock next year for best comedy. :)

Anything after 5am is sleeping in for me. :)
Did anyone catch the Droid Life live podcast? Watching it now. Man, these guys live in what looks like dorm rooms and have HORRIBLE cameras.
(granted, it's probably just a restriction of G+ Hangouts)

Some big college football games today. WVU and K-State, TAMU and LSU, Florida and USCe, Bama at Tennessee. Then of course I have to watch my DAWGS tonight take on, hopefully, a cupcake for homecoming. This "cupcake" put a whipping on Georgia Tech so they may be a tough team. Good thing most of the ones I'm interested in are at night after I get home.

Edit: Love your sig Kymberlin. Save the ta-tas.

On 3.6 now for the N7. Working just fine and really, it's not much of a big deal. My Gnex is more of the tinkering device. :)

Edit: Only bug I think I'm seeing is my data is all grayed out even though I'm receiving a signal. I've tried two reboots and even tried changing the color of it, but it's not changing.

I was on AOKP B4 on the N7...started noticing a few things about it that I didn't like. Haven't run CNA in a while so I'll flash it and check things out. I usually run a ROM pretty exclusive but haven't found one that I 100% am sold on for the N7, so I'll keep flashing until I find one I like.

Sourcery has run GREAT for me on the GNex, so I just do the usual updates, sometimes not even that if a version is running particularly well, like the latest that I have on it right now. I don't think any ROM has ever run as well on my GNex as the current version of Sourcery.

I know, I know, Sourcery is all the rage. :)
Really like CNA, but perhaps I'll give it a shot at some point. Really gives me all the options I want. Would love some more battery life, but perhaps that's just some work in finding another kernel.

I've had surprisingly good battery life with Sourcery. If my phone wouldn't start self destructing every time it couldn't get a GREAT cell signal, then it would be even better. I lose 10% in my 30 minute drive to work because it can't get connected to a tower that will satisfy it. I've come to the conclusion that the radios in these things are absolutely horrendous. The antenna is what it is, but the radio firmware should be programmed better.

Well, already a big issue on the CNA 3.8 build for the N7. Under the interface settings, when you click Notification Toggles, the settings app crashes.

Hey boys and girls!

Up early I see! *looks at Geek and Dread*

I got up at 630p PDT. Now that is what I call sleeping in!

Quick question for you rom-a-holics...do purchased Play Movies work in CNA or Sorcery? I have been running Stock Jelly Bean on my N7 and Jelly Belly on my Nexus Prime because Play Movies work. I really want all the customizations I am missing out on but not at the expense of losing a core app.

:-)

I only have purchased one magazine but it works just fine on both my Gnex and N7 both running CNA. Have you run into problems or just don't want to?

If I was at home I could tell you. I'll check back with you this afternoon. I'll try playing Transformers on my N7 which now has CNA 3.8. I don't foresee any issues though. I read magazines on it and my phone that I have purchased.

Dread. You got your N7 as an early adopter, right?

If so, go to Play Movies on your GNex and try to watch the Transformers movie that came with your N7. It will error if the Dev hasn't merged the fix. This fix is a sanctioned fix by Google that most devs haven't merged.

Tethered to my Gnex and attempted to watch on the N7. It's loading so I assume it works. Will update if it ever actually plays...very poor service here.

Edit: Got a "Couldn't fetch license" error on the Gnex. I'll try at home...very likely that my service is so poor that it just isn't allowing it here.
