Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Chief, the biggest thing that bothers me with the Prime is: touch screen get's smudged a lot! The trackpad is okay, but not as good as one on my cheap laptop. Last, it's really top heavy having nearly everything stored in the screen.
I don't use a whole lot of apps and spend nearly all of my time on the web or TT here so that's really where I stand.
Plus, there's NO WAY, the N10 could come close to that price point. Rumored screen resolution does look phenomenal though.
 
Database backend is working - one table for your global list of food and one for daily tracking so you can see what you ate that day. Long press on an item and you have the ability to remove it from the database. So far really excited at my progress.

Also thinking about putting an option in to leave the current UI if the user doesn't plan to use any of the database features and truly just wants a SIMPLE points calculator & tracker.

Right now its a local database so it only stores your food that you've eaten. I might do some type of global database stored on a webserver somewhere so it becomes crowdsourced, but not 100% sure if or how I would do it yet.

Want to get this release out before the years end though so gotta lock it down and get it out before people start their lose weight new year's resolutions.

Also want to do some type of tablet mode, but thats in the works as well.

Have a question for everyone:
Does anyone honestly use an analog clock on their phone or tablet? Every iteration of Android seems to have a new widget for it, but I just don't see the point. :confused:

edit: HOLY MOLY JMar, what a series. What TWO series. Kardiac Kids! Now if I could only scrounge up some tickets ;-)
 
Congrats to you Giants fans. Should be a good series. Although for me, once the Yankees were out, it's all gravy IMO. (Waits for Steven to lay the smack down ;))
 
Same here Anti, once the Yankees were out I'm good with the outcome, haha. I would have loved the Braves to win it, but that ended really quick. Second team would have been the Giants, so I'm good with the outcome of last night. Cards are ok though.

Looking forward to watching the iPad mini announcement today. Any guesses on pricing? 32Gb Touch is $299 so a ~7" iPad will probably be around $400?
 
Saw a kids.woot.com woot-off item and snatched it up. 24 glow sticks for $3.99 so I got 3 orders to total $11.97 plus $5 shipping for a total of $16.97 for 72 glow sticks with lanyards, lol.
 
Haha. Yeah I try to stay away from woot.offs Not good for my budget :p. ALthough I did snap up a Florida Gators fleece from a slickdeals FP deal yesterday. Had a $10 gift certificate I had forgotten about, so paid $7.50 out of pocket for it. Originally $70 :)
