I bought my motion Aug 31,barely two months ago and where I was once getting about 12-15 hours, I'm now getting only 6-8 hours.
I use the stock task manager to kill apps I've used whenever I exit. I also disable data when I'm not using it. I have WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth etc all off. I keep brightness at 50 percent outdoors in sunlight, 20 percent indoors and 5-10 percent while browsing in bed before I sleep. Bloatware was frozen when I first got the phone. I don't tether, play games, or anything that would really run it down, but I do browse a lot. My data usage averags over 5gb a month.
Starting now I'll be browsing on 3g instead of 4g in an effort to conserve battery. I shouldn't HAVE to do that though.
What gives, what could be causing this? What are my options? Am I screwed in regards to the warranty (almost two months since purchase)?
