Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Changing battery icon

I remember reading that it should be done in consistency of the original meter. Like by increments of one or ten. Which should I choose for our phone?

Where did you read that?
As far as I know, you can use any old increment you like, from 3 step (empty, half, full) to 101 steps (one percentage point increments).
At least that was true with my previous galaxy phone...

I read it somewhere in the connect forum but I guess it doesn't matter. Got an error message said I needed a deodexed rom anyways.

If you wanna change to 1% Battery icons you will have to do more than just move over some icons. Gotta change the xml to correspond with the new battery icons that have been added.

I'll do some digging around and post up some options for yall.

This phone uses 10 percent

That would be what it does by default. But, you can always change that, if not by just adding the missing icons, then by editing the corresponding 3 xml files...
I can't remember the names for now...

EDIT: haha, killed by the Fuzzy's speed...
Or did you just go back in time two minutes to answer before me?
I'm onto you, Fuzz...
