There was no info on the device whatsoever besides its price...no mention of the OS, manufacturer, etc.

Seems to support the pic of the 28th that I found.
 
ok.. I'm having a heart attack... I am watching the review of the htc legend and the Android Central reviewer (phil) says that the HTC mail program does NOT handle gmail??? :O

OMG... How do I use gmail with my new incredible then? This is bad. Very bad. I run my business off of gmail. :(

Use the google mail program that comes stocked with the android OS. You don't need the HTC mail program. :)

Calm down, calm down ( cant have you dying on us again) surely its a misunderstanding. How the he** could an Android phone NOT handle Gmail

ok i'll be very honest, im incredibly (haha) new to true customization of mobile phones ect. What exactly is rooting and how might i do it?

Thanks for the pics lajboys! Please don't give too much detail about how you got them though, wouldn't want you to risk your wife's job!

While I'd rather have the phone before the 28th, I'd really just like to have a release date! I think knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel will make waiting seem less aggravating. Right now it's just endless waiting...

I hope you are right and we don't have to wait until the 28th, but I would just like to have a concrete release date.

So according to the picture, the reset is slated for the 28th .. . so wouldn't that mean release on the 29th? This would correspond to the marketing ploy of a "long weekend" (thursday thru sunday) to boost sale figures (as posted earlier in the day from another poster whom speculated a thursday release date based upon his/her experience in marketing. So 29th or 28th? I say 29th . . . one more day sorry!
