Root vipermod question

yes you do. and it is not guaranteed to help with battery life.

edit: let me re-phrase that. you need to be rooted to do this. and that is whether s-on with an unlocked bootloader or s-off. as long as you have root permission (su) then you are good to go.

what kernel are you on? I thought only HAVS kernels allow you to change voltages but I remember reading that Rxpert thought any kernal can have voltages changed.

Anyhoo, open the app.....click on the "havs" tab...you can change the upper/lower limit for each mhz. When done, scroll to bottom and hit "apply"
Do not put a "checkmark" in the "save for boot" box just in case your phone freezes.

Havs kernels adjust their own voltages as needed. You should be able to adjust the voltages on any kernel
 
well you have a havs kernel so not sure if you want to lower the voltage any more then what the kernel already does. but you can give it a try if you like.
