I have had the Sam Smith's, I just prefer Guinness. I'm Irish, and was weaned on the stuff.

Sorry I've been offline so long! I've caught up. Taking the family to late church then I'll be home to stalk you.

I want to complain about all the pages I've had to read through in order to get caught up. I mean...really? 5 pints of beer and other nonsense? You all should learn how to stay on topic! I'm sick of this!

That is a very easy statement to understand. He means that he is going to get both the N1 and the incredible. Who cares if verizon is not going to sell the N1 in stores. He can buy the N1 for his personal line and get the Incredible through that testing program. Or just buy both for his personal lines and carry them around like a drug dealer. One for pleasure and one for work:cool:

Love Guinness so much, it ended up being my dog's name!

The infomanager links...was there anything earth-shattering there besides further confirmation that the Incredible exists in Verizon's systems? Sorry...have caught up with 10+ pages of posts using the Bolt Browser on my Storm1. I promised my wife not to bring my laptop on vacation with us, so I'm a little hamstrung checking the links.

There are hidden pages in InfoManager and there are quite a few I have found that no one on the internet even knows about yet. So yes, we are getting the Nexus One and the Incredible.

Now, on both of those pages, there is no release date or pricing yet. Because of people leaking information, there probably won't be much info until a few days before launch. Sometimes though, the user guides get posted up internally a few weeks before launch. Neither of these phone have the user guide posted yet.

Oh yes also, we will not be selling the Nexus One in the stores. Google.com/phones only. Any questions, please ask. I will do what I can to answer them.

So, to your knowledge, all the scuttlebut about lawsuits, import bans etc is just a bunch of hooey? No rumblings at VZW? Since you work there I imagine if the Incredible is released it will be first come first served as usual, right? Thanks for your input.

Sure, like what? Keep in mind though that some of the specs we have are just basic stuff, detailed stuff closer to launch.

By "we", I meant Verizon haha but I will probably get both anyway lol believe it or not, we don't get good discounts of stuff :(

Haven't heard anything about things being delayed, I would be surprised if it would get delayed cause of the legal nonsense.

I wanted to ask about the micro-SD capability:

Assuming that many of would want to go for the gusto and purchase the 32gb card, how wise would that be to immediately fill it up with MP3s and Apps?

Would that compromise the performance of the phone?

I've got about 15 Gb of music, so should I consider deleting a little of that and getting the cheaper 16 Gb card? Or would that be cutting it too close?


I'm leaving on a jet plane in about a half-hour, but just thought I would see if anyone has any input on the subject, as I've never actually used a phone to play MP3s

As I said, some detailed info we might not get until close to launch. And sorry, I haven't been following everything for this phone as much as you guys so what is it that you want to specifically know about the ROM? I will have to double check on the camcorder resolutions, and yeah it will but I heard that CarWash.apk was a little buggy. Look for release version 1.14b in the next few days :D

As far as Infodoc....just more confirmation in my eyes. That and the Cellbrite news give hope. They are at least preparing for this.:rolleyes:

shouldn't matter much but it would take a lot of apps and mp3s to fill 32gigs. Most apps are 100k big, movies are about 200megs, mp3 is about 3megs. so 32gb is a lot. Even if you fill it just get another 32gig sd card :P

16gb isn't really 16gb. it's like 14.50gb after format. You'll need the 32gb after format that is about 29gb

I think he would like a conformation on the size of the ROM. I'd like to know if there is a conformation of the size the RAM will be.

How are the quotes so screwed up- now it looks like I asked that question.

What he meant was Verizon will be getting the N1 but will only be sold through Google And they will be getting the Incredible in stores ( that counts as both)
