Sprint Note 2.. any deals?

hi all,

I want the NOTE2... but i have to order it straight from Sprint, no 3rd party.
so, has any one heard anything about specials coming up?

Sprint is having a Black-Friday deal for the S3..$49.
this is a great deal and I might have to use my upgrade on it.
But I really want the NOTE2. just cant swing the $300.

thanks

I doubt Sprint will put the Galaxy Note 2 on sale because it just came out. I know you don't want to go to 3rd party to purchase it but Wirefly.com has some good sales. For one day about a week ago they had the Note 2 for $249. I'm hoping Black Friday they'll have it for $249 or maybe even less considering they already had it priced at $249 for no reason!

thanks.. but I CANT order from a 3rd party.. due to my contract with sprint on an employee/family plan.

believe me.. i have passed up soo many great deals .. because of this.
amazon had the S3 for pennies a few weeks ago!

If you're on an employee plan why not get the N2 for $100 discount? SWAC plans are not discounted. :(

Dan, I didn't know you were looking for a deal...I ended up getting Best Buy to price match the Note 2 as a price match of the Wirefly $219.99 Friends & Family deal. All I did was print out the website, they looked at it, and gave me a price match. Didn't even bother calling the manager over! Not sure if the Friends and Family deal is still alive, but that was the best deal I've seen (and probably will be the best deal available anywhere...for a while).

thanks.. but again...

I have to .. and can only.. purchase the phone directly from Sprint. :(
so only deals that sprint can do/match/offer.

Right now, Wirefly has it for $279.99 & if you enter code "RMN20" at checkout, it will knock an additional $20 off. Plus it says Sprint will credit the $36 activation fee to your bill if you upgrade before 11/28. WOO HOO!!! :D

I see. Okay. I'll keep an eye out for you my friend. If only Sprint were more open to matching other 3rd party retailers selling their phones. That'd make things so much easier.

Swac price through your SiS should be 199 currently

yeah... I found that out today too.. $199 was yesterday! ouch!

so, sprint stores can match retailers? I dont think that counts for friends-n-family that have to order online. does it?

I don't know if SERO or Everything Plus are the same as Friends and Family, but I found this at Sprint | Already an Everything Plus or SERO customer?

As a SERO/Everything Plus customer, are there restrictions on where I can upgrade my device?

Yes. You can upgrade through any of the following channels: any Sprint-owned Retail Store, Telesales (888-882-4030), or Sprint.com. You will not, however, be able to upgrade your device through a 3rd party dealer or national retail partner and you will not be required to provide a referring employee's email address and CID in order to upgrade your device.

i talked to Sprint yesterday.. as a customer under my sister's .. employee friends-N-Family.. I have to order through her, and she has to order via an internal process.

looks like I am out of luck for matching other deals.

the $199 deal for Note2 for FNF plans was over 2 days ago...
My only current deal available is for the Samsung s3 for $49 ( $100 - $50 mail-in Rebate) for black friday.

i reallllly want the Note2.. but i think i will do the S3...

Amazon has the Note 2 for NEW customers now for $199 & free shipping. Existing/renewing customers get it for $249. That's an awesome deal & would be more awesome if Sprint would match it in the store....but they won't. They told me they won't price match from the web. If I want to upgrade early they'll let me pay the $50 but I have to pay their price for the phone, $299. So it still doesn't benefit me to upgrade now, as opposed to a week from now. However, Best Buy said they will match Amazon but Sprint won't let them upgrade me early. Since Sprint is being an ***hole about it, I'm going to get my phone from Best Buy either way. I just hope that in a week the phones will still be on sale.

What if you pay the $50 thru Sprint to upgrade early then go to BB to get your Amazon price match?
