Pretty good. The name was engraved on the phone in the pocketnow leaked pics, mister's leak still has it as the Incredible. With HTC its always possible, but its a good chance it stays the Incredible.

With all of the internet hype that's surrounded the HTC "Incredible", it's probably a wise marketing decision to stick with the name.

That's simply INCREDIBLE!!
I've been in Australia for almost a year now - arriving back in the U.S. on May 3, so I've been praying for a Incredible launch before then. This is great news! I was on AT&T before. Now I can't wait to get home and part with my iPhone for good.

I don't know................it looks like they used PhotoShop to me.

Maybe the 6 has to do w/ 6 GB of built in storage?????

Hmmmmm... so I guess this confirms the naming of the device as 'Incredible,' correct? And the 29th would most likely be the latest release date. It's possible for an earlier release from Verizon?

i just hope when this phone launches there isnt any really BIG issues....that would suck if the phone came out and was very very buggy and poor build quality, screen issues ext...lol

Since we are just trying throwing around ideas about what the the 3...2...1... means it could be three factorial (3!) 3 x 2 x 1 = 6. 3 weeks, 2 phones, 1 launch date maybe?

Sorry I'm sitting in math class right now.

You just hurt my brain...

:D

I assume I can purchase insurance from Verizon (or maybe Best Buy as well) and cancel it at any time? My thoughts are that new phones come out so often that if something horrible happens to my phone within maybe six months I'd need it. After that though I can probably find an affordable Android phone either new or on eBay that would work in it's place.

I think I'll also call the insurance company I have my home policy with to see if I can't get our phones covered for loss or theft. I've never carried such an expensive device around on a daily basis before.

Only thing I see with this logic is that you (regarding cancelling the service) would lose out on all the money you spent in the first 6 months (approx 36.00)- thing is you will never find a phone on ebay that is a smart phone with the same capabilities as the incredible for less than 100.00 (which is what the insurance would be on a smartphone- 90.00)- and even after 2 full years of paying for your insurance you will only have paid roughly 120.00 total. So in reality keeping the insurance is a good thing if you are going to start it and is not a bad deal to have over the life of the phone.

If your house insurance covered it that would be a different thing- but then you'd have deductibles etc to worry about as well- and it wouldn't fix anything broken.

The LG Cosmos is already out. It is not available on the Best Buy site so my guess is this is roll out for Best Buy only. Maybe just maybe the Incredible will roll out first in Corporate stores and then Best Buy?

Cats and dogs living in harmony!!!

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

:D

Perhaps they put a random number 6 on the box, and knew us crazies would come up with umpteen different theories, drive ourselves crazy thinking about it, and hype the release even more.

Vague Marketing.....it's the new Viral

Really? You mean it's not an actual photograph of a big box actually flying through a giant piece of paper with writing on it in the sky? Of course it looks PS'd that's probably what they created it with.

Kappy is no Troll given'm mad props!!! THanks KAppy

[Clinton]It depends what your definition of Photoshop is[/Clinton]

Of course it was "Photoshopped" initially. Nobody is on about that, it's the way things are done today. But, IMO, there is no question it was also "Photoshopped" in the other sense of the term. That is to say, it was altered (and pretty crudely so) to at least add the "Really" and the type on the box.

I know my story may be too late now but!

I went to the Midtown Manhattan VZW store. I walked in, was greeted, and asked "What would you like help with today, sir?"

I said "I'm looking for information on new phone releases?"

"No."

"No?"

"No."

"What?"

"That information is only available online."

"...Thanks."

I walked out.
