Yeah, I could kick myself for having bought so many phones AT the vzw store! Just last weekend, they had Motorola Droid for $199 AFTER rebate, and at BB it was $99 (and no rebate to deal with).

I will buy from BB from now on. I only hope there is no issue with return and exchange. I wonder if they do the $30 restock fee too. Anyone know? I don't mind though, because Android does take some practice.

most people have no idea about this phone. shoot, a lot of people dont know who/what HTC is!!

imo, this is no PS3 / Wii launch in the slightest. you'll get your hardcore types (ummm...US) at the store early. As long as there is a "normal" stock sent to stores, we should be good.
 
Best Buy got the last new Android phone that came out (Devour) what, a month before Verizon stores? Maybe they'll switch it up and bring it to Verizon stores before BB?

I have to say thank you for VZW, if indeed that announcement was aimed at us. If it was, it was classy, very classy. It shows us that they've been following us, acknowledging us by making a pre-announcement that they knew we'd see and finally it uses element of our discussions.

If that's the case, I'm totally fine with their timing and their handling of this and I want them to know that I tip my cap to them. Well done. :)

So I'm watching LOST last night and saw another Droid commercial. I almost hucked my sneaker through the TV. I am sick of waiting! Hopefully all these April dates are true.

I believe!!

And...I may just camp out a bit earlier in the morning than I expected. We will need to start a thread to include photos of waiting, arriving, and getting this beast! I'd love to see pics of everybody with something that we've waited so long for together!!

My friend from the Verizon texted me yesterday with coordinates about a pine tree with 3,237,864,203 pine needles in a remote location that I should meet him at. He said he was being followed and he will explain later, just be there at midnight. Well guess what guys, I have just been delivered my Incredible!

For all the naysayers, I took a pic this time! Keep in mind I took this at the pine tree location in the middle of the woods at midnight so it's dark and may be difficult to make out the phone.

I hope this doesn't get counted as off topic.
I really, really want this HTC incredible.

I just bought a droid 3 days ago in the Verizon store before I knew that much about either phone. Since i've had the droid, it's dropped so many calls due to the proximity sensor that I've lost count. It's heavy. It's bulky.

I was told I had 30 days to decide if I wanted it. I'm wondering if I take it back that I can still do an upgrade to the Incredible when it's out ?

God I sure hope so...this droid is giving me such heartache dropping and muting my calls unexpectedly. I so wish I would have seen this thread 3 days ago!
