Actually VZW has a BTA (Bill to Amount) that varies, and ranges up to $750 for a consumer account. Things such as dollar value of the rate plan, length of service, pay history, etc. figure into the determination of a customer's BTA. If you have been a customer less than 6 months, or have had your phone hotlined (cut-off) in the last 6 months, you will not qualify for any BTA. The BTA for a business is theoretically unlimited and is done "within reason."

You can split tender with VZW. So, if you choose you may charge up to the limit of your BTA and pay the rest in one or more other tenders if you desire.

The BTA amount is due 20 days after your next statement prints.

Anyone in LA area? This whole thing is like the drive to Vegas.

You leave LA with the total intent of getting bombed and gambling and are in full party mode. about 90 min in, you realize you're lost in desert.

Then you have regret but you're closer to vegas than home so you press on.

Then you see the luxor, the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

Then you realize that bastard light is still 45 min to an hour away.

And it's the longest. 45. minutes. EVER.

Then you get there and you go....what drive?
 
what a wild day on the forum. lots of info on the release date. excited people..plenty of steven58 bashing. all-in-all a fine day. :)

I have to vouch for HTC, too. I've had an XV6800 for well over two years. I don't have it in a hard or a silicone case and have dropped in numerous times, not a chip or dent on it. It feels solid, keyboard slides well, battery is running down a little but has lasted longer than those of most other phones. One problem I've experienced with other phones is the charging port getting a little quirky which makes charging the battery dicey - no such problem here. If I weren't looking at the Incredible I would get another HTC phone in a heartbeat.

I 2nd that - I've got a BB Pearl that I've been dying to get rid of but if I can't type on a keyboard with one hand then I don't want a keyboard anyway. :o
 
Okay everyone. 1 more piece of info e-mailed to me. IT DOES NOT RELATED TO THE INCREDIBLE DIRECTLY.

Another friendly member here sent me a PM and then an e-mail of info on the Samsung Reality. They informed me it was directly from VZW.

AGAIN, just passing it on and I don't know much about this member, but I don't have any reason to not believe them. I don't know if this info. is out on the web yet or not (just got it and haven't looked), but the reason I am posting this is because........ Judging by the date in the pic it looks like it could be one of the six phones dropping (if you believe in the 6 thing as meaning 6 devic

es.) So here it is.

^^^BTW if all that is legit and it is one of the 6 devices I want to thank that member for looking out. I don't know if they work for VZW or what their job is, but they didn't want to post it. I assume they want to lay-low.
 
Also, by the 4/22 date if VZW is doing a 6 device launch thing, then the Incred. would have to be out before the 22 right???? :D;):D
