Mine is excellent, though I imagine it would vary a lot with location.
I've owned 3 HTC devices. I've loved each one of them respectively for what they were. Now that the new Sense UI is out with a 1Ghz processor and 512Mb of RAM on top of Android 2.1; this is going to be an amazing device.

Okay listen everyone BIG NEWS....

I'M FINALLY OFF PROBATION FRIDAY EVENING! 4:03pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to have a huge party to celebrate the release!

Wouldn't a suprise announcement about the INC be, well... Incredible?
Doubtful, but we can dream

Every time I see your name, I think of the old cartoon Rocko's Modern life. Theme song and all. OT but I had to mention it.

Meanwhile, thanks for the updates. Considering some past responses to such questions, I was a bit scared to ask. Looks like I'm getting a new phone for my son's birthday. j/k

Surpisingly, I never heard/saw that cartoon. When I was naming my dog, I was looking for ideas. My Dad actually came up with it. And, it seemed to fit him. Of course now, everyone thinks I'm a big fan of that cartoon.

And of course, I'm horrible with coming up with names for forums (so I used my dog's name). Let alone coming up with a DJ name (not my dog's name fyi).

---That's right ladies, I'm a DJ:cool:

Is this any kind of sign that Verizon chose this logo for their support icon? Looks awfully similar to a certain animated superhero logo.....

i have had the tour since it came out last year, (i think may) and i have had it replaced 3 times due to issues, i was under the impression that after one full year of my contract i could renew for a new phone at the 2yr price (w/o any ne2 discount) am i mistaken? cause i want to get the incredible on my one year mark.

I believe you can get the new phone at the 1yr price if you are the primary account holder. I am in the same boat as you (with the same phone that has also been replaced numerous times). Can't wait for the Incredible!

Steve, from my personal experience (I have bought every one of my Verizon phones online) nothing is different than if you purchased in store. I have brought broken phones back that i bought online to corporate stores and they have treated them like they were bought in store. Not one bit of difference in my experiences.

As I've posted before my wife bought her Storm from VZW online and when it failed she took it to the corporate store which told her she didn't buy it from vzw online and that she had been redirected to somone else that sold her the phone. I would never trust them buying it online.

Say what? Unless you went through some funky links, that is wrong. I've gotten all my phones online, walked into corporate stores, and never had an issue. Online is the way to go....no hassles, no rebate, no activation.

Not remarkable news, but fly_mrs (the HTC tester who has been posting photos "Taken With a ADR6300") has stopped posting ADR6300 pictures and has moved to PC36100 (Pretty sure this is the Evo) pictures. I think this means, she is officially done testing the Incredible. Yay.

Also, she hasn't posted any additional ADR6300 pictures since March, so she may have been done for a while.

Ok...long time lurker in this thread.....first time posting though (so much for trying to compete with those "thousandth post" comments.

First...a question. This comes out literally as late as possible in this month without it becoming May. In June (one month later) there's the EVO. Is anyone going to wait...I mean we've waited this long....1 more month...cheaper rates...faster speeds....and true unlimited WITH wifi tethering?

Ok...Second. For all the people who are complaining about an activation fee and whether to do this online. Anyone with a corporate discount (me, and I am sure a billion others)...there is no activation fee...they wave it in store. As well as transferring contacts and other things. Free.

If you have to pay the 30-50 dollar activation fee...And I am not saying that throwing away money is ever a good thing...especially in this economy..... But....Over a 2 year contract this phone is going to cost about 2.5 grand..... complaining about 50 bucks? I'll just do it in store....make sure everything works...and walk out with a brand new phone that I can use immediately. Immediate satisfaction and a new phone.

Like I said...doesn't pertain to a whole bunch of us where its waived to begin with...but c'mon...get real...$50? Yes its a complete ripoff but honestly..its a drop compared to what the phone will actually cost.

But back to the first question...anyone going to wait what will probably be 4-6 weeks to be able to compare? We've already waited this long. Plus...and yes I am no way a fanboy of them....but maybe OS4 will actually be good? No real need to jailbreak (hahaha....I can't believe I typed that myself) and by then we'd know if its on Verizon too (they always announce in June)

Another lurker here coming out of the shadows. I live in MT and have been stuck with Alltel and their crappy 3 year old hardware for too long. Currently using the BB pearl flip - kind of a smartphone at least. Been foaming at the mouth for a droid after using my cousins Moto droid last fall - talk about an upgrade in technology over my blackberry. Instead of jumping in and getting a moto droid, I caught wind of first the Nexus One and now the HTC Incredible. Honestly, I would buy which ever one of those dropped first, but the Incredible is my first choice if I had to choose. Especially since it will be available to buy IN an actual store and not just online and also because I could use the incredible with a family plan if I decided to go that route. Anway, VERY much looking forward to this phone finally dropping. Much thanks to all that have leaked the info they had here even if it was just a tidbit here or there.
