I bet it has something to do with the launching theme... 321 blastoff?? hmmmm ;):D

HTC Droid Ares -my guess.

NASA's Ares I-X test rocket lifted off Oct. 28, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center in Florida for a two-minute powered flight. The flight test lasted about six minutes from its launch from the newly modified Launch Complex 39B until splashdown of the rocket's booster stage nearly 150 miles downrange.

The 327-foot-tall Ares I-X test vehicle produced 2.6 million pounds of thrust to accelerate the rocket to nearly 3 g's and Mach 4.76, just shy of hypersonic speed. It capped its easterly flight at a suborbital altitude of 150,000 feet after the separation of its first stage, a four-segment solid rocket booster.

Something has happened to me. I can't explain it. I can't stay off this forum. I have to scan it in the morning with my coffee. I have to check it frequently during the day on my Droid. I read it at night before bed. My GF thinks I've lost my mind. I've gotten two other friends addicted to it as well. I'm sure once I get my hands on the Incredible I will be ok and resume my normal life...NOT!

So, it's 10 pm.. I'm watching the Yankees game (BTW MM, Granderson just hit the homer in the top of the 10th :) :) :))

So, there's a VZ commercial on advertising the Droid AND the Pre. (sounds like they're clearing inventory, right?).

I tell my wife that they are clearing inventory for the Incredible. I tell her I know this because I've seen and internal memo from VZ and from BB regarding the Incredible coming out the end of this month.

You now what she said to me? She said, "I don't get what it is about this phone. Is it the second coming of Christ or something? After all, it's just a phone!" I then explained that it was a considerable advancement of technology, rather than the second coming.

Out of curiosity, is this sufficient grounds for divorce? ;) :p

I think the most surprising thing for me today, is it still seems to be locked into the Incredible name....I thought for sure I'd see a change, but if Best Buy is gonna set out documents with Incredible in them, it might be confusing if they did a last minute name switch.

So I guess we're stuck with HTC Incredible.
Bite your tongue Steven58 is going to share MM's wine from the wine cellar....

I don't think so for 30 years of marriage.:p

I was looking earlier at the name thing and looked at space stuff, sci-fi stuff, biblical stuff, anagrams.
There was some blade runner stuff that fit, was thinking about the sci-fi movie called the sixth day, some star wars, you could go on forever.
Looked at previous releases, sholes= droid, desire= eris, I got tired of it and gave up.
