When ever you have less information in a channel you detect more noise. There is very little actual info on the phone so most of the stuff here is noise. That's what rumor sites and threads are all about. Until you see a detailed spec sheet on a verzion website it's all speculation.

If you were talking about the guy that just got banned then I think you missed the previous evenings events and need to read back quite a bit before defending the individual. If not him, then my sincerest apologies and good day to you.

True when you log into admin view you can do a search by Username or Ip address among many other options. If by Username it will pull up lots of info about the User including IP address. Then they can copy that address and then put it into another search that looks for the same IP. It will pull all users linked to it. You would be amazed though how many people have a common IP.

Considering Sprint's comes out 6 weeks later....(assuming middle of June) has 4g, has a 4.3 inch screen (on screen typing that much easier) HDMI Out....and FREE....FREE wifi tethering that is truly unlimited (no 5 gig cap)...it is tempting to see what people think.

I actually just put out a FB post inquiring on whether Sprint service has improved at all in NY (had the 8 years ago and couldn't get service in my apt). I honestly don't know many people with them...but that doesn't mean they are sucky...maybe just underused.

I think a lot of people are misunderstanding 4G. Yes, you might get 4G sometimes, but it will be limited and still spotty. You will be falling back to 3G for a lot of things. The same way that phones jump back to 1x now, they will do with your 4G. 4G isn't just going to be up and work all of a sudden. We are about 5 years away from seeing REAL 4G coverage in enough area for us to believe that 3G is just going to disappear. Yes, having a 4G capable phone will be cool, but unless you know for sure that your 4G network is going to be maintained and consistent, I'd not make the jump.

Sprint has already conceded that with all of the other carriers eventually jumping to LTE, that they will have to do the same. WiMax won't be around for the long haul. If you said that you were banking on something like HSPA+ or the LTE setup of another network, I could at least respect that. WiMax seems way to gimmicky for me to want to invest in it. And the speed of my mobile internet aside, I do still like to get calls on my PHONE.

If an EVO will do it for you, then by all means, GET ONE! Do what makes you happy and get the phone that you want. I have been holding out for a stellar HTC device with a Snapdragon processor. The Incredible is my phone and I'm going to get one. It might be a Storm all over again and be just awful, but it is what I'm getting. Best of luck to you in your purchase, but don't let WiMax be such a large part of your decision.

GAH! I had to read through a bajillionty posts. Phew! I'm late to start dinner now (my girlfriend works 2-11). =( Guess I'm gonna have to fall back to grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. This phone needs to release so I can get back to cooking delicious culinary works of art, again.

I know you're trying to "take the high road" here, but just because my opinion is different than your own does not make me a troll. Just sayin'. I thought I posed some fair points that will likely go ignored now because you've deemed it "trolling" and you have more posts than me =(

hey guys/gals just wanted to say hello, I have been a lurker on these forums and just wanted to say "HOLA"(practicing my spanish for my summer vaca to the caribbean :)) Hopefully I will have the most INCREDIBLE phone by then...cheers to the 29th release date(or the 25th, who releases anything on a sunday wtf?!?!!?!?!!?). No... what I would like to say to you is that you've made your point. You've made it well. You're entitled to that. What none of us are entitled to do is bicker with each other. Bickering will get us closed. No flaming, no bickering allowed. I have to take the high road because I love this thread, the topic at hand and the people. That's all. Thanks for your input.

Possibly, but where's your proof? I think me and you are on the same page for the most part so im not trying to start an argument (theres not many of us as it is), but you can't make a slippery slope case because this one guy got kicked.
