Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

I didn't do a complete wipe and install. I installed it right over my previous version. So it seems that its not just 1 time thing. And i don't mean to sound pesimistic but im glad ashwind experienced the same problem. Didn't want it to be my phone lol.

i had a shady feeling about that fake 1.7, was whole lotta things in there i never seen before, wasn't sure if was just my in-experience or someone elses but here's the additions i seen.. and immideately responded with a "wt...F? haha

clearly he just read through all the tweak pages and added everything lol, which im guilty of in the past but learned the hard way that fixing/modding 1 thing breaks 2 things.. lol

Those "signal enhancement" tweaks must have been what broke the ability to send mms messages.
 
I for sure was able to send and receive at least a couple mms before I crashed. And about it displaying 1.6, I know when I first DL the zip it was actually labelled 1.6 but I think he edited his post.

did BlueTooth work on his 1.7? if so than ill need to do that LOL totally forgot :D

Edit: In the edt tweaks app, only the clock is customizable, as I'm sure you already know. :p

I prefer Mila Kunis though. :)

Edit: Shoot, I have no idea what to test Bluetooth on, as I don't use Bluetooth for anything.

Edit: Used another phone I've got, and it force closes when its suppose to pair with a pin number.

Shoot, guess who's 19 now. Selena Gomez :D But I know what you mean, Jessica Alba was hott! lol

So far, the same as 1.6 test, just with added rom manager and edt app.
And about that space thing, I only had it happen to me once, and a reboot fixed it, haven't seen it since. But if it comes up, I'll be sure to report back :)

Anything else cool you'll be adding?
I'm open to test :p
 
For Some Reason It Wasn't Installed!!! i Was Able To Find The APK By Extracting The ROM Rar File And Installed Myself!!

could have just dl'd it from market LOL, and what do you mean Rar file? it's a zip.. or it should be haha
 
I havent tested the unofficial v1.7 that long but heres what I got so far. The Bluetooth seems to work, it got stuck at first but then it did pair and trasfer files. I did notice alot of the tweaks that were used in the build.prop and they are good tweaks (most of them anyways :D) you can actually use/get almost all the tweaks from the app I posted awhile back (PimpMyRom) but with the app you can enable/disable them as you wish. The PimpMyRom app has come along way since I posted it and is worth looking at, heres the link to my post about it --> "Here". Also, the tweak "seeder" in init.d is a real tweak but I never used it and its more then likely the reason for the reboots, here is a link to the (Seeder Tweak) --> "Here" I would like to keep testing it but I see that ldrifta just updated :D so since I already have most of the tweaks from the unofficial 1.7 by using the PmR app (without reboots) Im just going to use the v1.6 that was just posted. I do want to thank JiN1337 for the time used to add all those tweaks and for taking the time out to try and help everyone here, hell you might be the fix for bluetooth lol!! so thanks again for your time.
 
Ill test your new 1.6 in a bit once I drink some coffee and get going this morning :)

Edit 1: also I just wanted to add BT worked on the custom #2 for me as well.
 
Ok so someone please explain the BT issue to me because I don't understand how is it possible for it to be device specific. Every since #2 rom v1.1 I've been able to use BT. I remember because I had my friend send me a pdf of a $200 textbook through it lol :) but yeah. It has always worked for me. And yes I did pair with my friends device AFTER #2 was installed.

When you turn the Bluetooth on its fine but when you start to pair it with a device and it asks if you want to connect it will FC once you try.

But that's the thing. It has never done that to me. Everytime i pair it pairs just fine. No problems. Sends and recieve files too!

Thats weird, I never use bluetooth but because I was testing out the update for ldrifta I did try a few times to pair it with my work phone (blackberry) and it FC'd when I tried to connect it. Im not sure where maybe back when I had the Indulge but I did hear that not all devices act the same even though they are the same make/model.
