Look, guys. Instead of badgering the few people around here with real information (if I see one more "ZOMG WHAT IS NKT DOING RIGHT NOW??"...) people could try Googling things for basic information. This includes information about what plans Verizon offers and how to deal with Android, since this is a thread about one specific phone.
How to disable Sense UI on any HTC Android phone with Sense UI (which includes the Incredible)
LOL! I currently use a 4Gb class 4 and will continue to use that one unless I find myself overwhelmed. But I doubt it since I don't even use half of my current capacity!I almost was sick.......TY. This is my first phone with a memory card!

We found out iPhones are going to let you set your own wallpaper, so we've all decided to get those instead.![]()

Would be interested in hearing the argument for/against from anyone that has had an experience with both card types in an existing phone...
i guess class 2 would be ok. But i'd like to know that when need be, my SD card won't be slowing me down, whatever the reason. Like when i want to put music on it when i first get it. I don't want to have my phone hooked up to the computer for a hour waiting for it to write
The name's steveN58 steve58 sounds effeminate to me![]()

I went to one of the Verizon stores today where there was an over abundance of employees for once, all kind of standing around. I mentioned the Incredible, and it turned into the Spanish Inquisition; short of taking me in the back room and flogging me, they were like "Where did you hear about this, what is the side, where is your hidden base" in short all I was told was to sign up online for updates and I'll get a text when new devices are available and that the website might have it before Best Buy. I was allowed to go free, but I get the feeling I should call my Captain for a security debrief...
This.I don't have experience with microSD cards, but I do have experience with SD cards in camera's (DSLRs). High speed cards are important for shooting continuous frames per second (fps). Read and write speeds will be slower with lower class cards, but unless you're moving a lot of files simultaneously (or some similar task) I would assume you shouldn't have any problems.
Also of note is that a card's class isn't everything - brand goes a long way, and even class 6 cards may not perform as advertised in real life. In other words, most of the time, you get what you pay for.
No. Not sufficient. I am an........up top guy ifyaknawmean![]()
funny i just got an class 2 16gb microsdhc and it took me less than an hour to transfer 14.3gb(which the real capacity is 14.8gb)This.
I have a Class 2 16 GB MicroSDHC card in my Blackberry Storm, and when I try and transfer anything to it, be it over USB or via a card adapter for my laptop, it takes almost 4 hours to transfer 5 GB. I've had an 8 GB in there for over 6 months and transferred 8 GB in less than 45 minutes usually regardless of connection, and I'm pretty sure that card was a class 2.
The one in the Storm originally was from Sandisk though and the one in my phone now is unbranded but I think it's DATAsomething or other.
I need a fast card because I guarantee I'll be transferring my music/movies on over to this device ASAP.
They probably won'y have any major accessories ready when they release the phone, but if they were smart they would. I imagine accessories are mostly all profit because they are all made of cheap components and are probably sold for a 400% markup. They could make tons of money just on cases and docks alone.
