Correct. If you call your GV number from a phone that is registered with it, you will be given options as to check voicemail and such, as well as make a call. the downside to this is that you need to know the person's full phone number...

That just sounds like alot of extra work. I do like the features GV has but I think I am just going to use the GV from an existing number so that way I still get the custom voice mail messages to different people, and the text translation. The custom voice mail option sound like it will be alot of fun to mess with your buds
 
if the verizon release date is 5/13 and the best buy release date is 4/29, can i take back my phone within my 30 days to verizon then go over to best buy and sign with them for the incredible?

I've posted it SEVERAL times. If you want a GV invite and you can't seem to get one. GO TO EBAY AND BUY ONE LIKE I DID. They are cheap. I got 3 for $7.00. They go for as little as .99 at times.;)

Google Docs, Google health, Google Reader, Google bookmarks, Blogger, Sounds like you already setup calendar (don't forget about sharing for calendars), Igoogle, Picasa web, profile, Google tasks, Google talk and sign in/up for a youtube and you can link it to your google acct if you choose to. :)

For dumbphones, you can block the call(s) on either a per call or permanent basis. I have mine set to block for all and I only setup a very few contacts with my cell phone number. Also, GV is working on in so that is shows up with your GV number instead of provider's when you make a phone call which would also solve the issue.

I guess the NE2 stacks on top of any other current promo they are running. Someone posted this earlier and it made a lot of sense.

We were discussing this last night regarding another person in a similar situation. Apparently it isn't as easy as it would seem to return to the previous version so in lieu of that, you can just make sure the homes screens look fairly like the original. A VZW employee said that he never checks for software version when processing a return for a customer. I can't imagine anyone bothering to do that.
 
Sorry having trouble linking.

Since i already posted, i might as well add i talked to a vzw rep at costco today and he had never even heard of the phone. I feel like if it was my job to sell cell phones i would take the time to know something about them. How hard is it to go to engadget once a day to see what will be coming out in the next month?
 
I'm seriously doubting the whole release on the 19th thing. Usually VZW has at least a week between their announcement and availability dates, and I'd be mighty surprised if Incredible was announced Monday, sharing the spotlight which will inevitably be shining on MS's kiddie phones. The Droid went live on a Friday, a couple of their other phones have gone live on Thursdays; my money is on the 29th.
 
Longtime lurker, first time poster. User manual for this thing got me to sign up!

Anyway, worked for Flextronics for 3 years, recently switched sides before the mass firings, and am now a CSR. Rushmore is 100 percent accurate about how inventory is done. We have NO control, no influence, no nothing. We get boxes, printouts, layouts, etc. Everything is placed by corporate decree. Meh.


After work today? We locked the doors, set the alarm and went to the pub. :D No trainings in AZ. As for the 12th? Money is on the MS Pink project. NOTHING official at the store level for this phone. Even though half my store wants one. :)

I don't think it mentions it anywhere obvious on the site, but they hide apps and/or developers who get really crappy ratings in the search results. You can still click on them if you want, but their appearance is minimized.
 
I just saw a Droid commercial. Why are they still promoting this phone? It has been around for 5 months already. I don't need anymore Droid advertisements.
