I used to think the weekends sucked for information releases, but not anymore. Hopefully this is the last weekend we will have to wait until announcement.

I do need Android, however, because I use my Gvoice almost exclusively, and the Android OS makes it veeeery easy to call with it. Gvoice is a free call on my family free call number list, so I hardly use minutes. :)

So, I'm not too dumb for Android, but I'm kind of tipping my hat to another fine phone, that's all. :)

Here you go Steven! Engadget had this today. The Dell Streak / Mini 5 makes a cameo appearance at MTV. It's an android device and the 5 inch screen should be big enough for you. It's being built with a cdma radio so maybe it will go to Verizon.

Guess that's one benefit of the ridges in the back cover ... Makes an extended battery just sorta work ... Like the extra ridge was supposed to be there in the first place. I personally don't mind the ridges at all but the increase in thickness is what would prevent me from jumping on one of these.
 
Not only does it look more like an LED notification light on the front none of our hands on witnesses have mentioned a front facing camera and wouldn't that kind of a change have to run through the FCC?

Anyways, the Droid is doing a nice job of tiding me over but I have to reset it once or twice per day and some of the "better apps" have to be forced closed. It's given me a good look into Android and I can definitely say "me likies". Really looking forward to the day the Incredible is finally released. This Droid is being mailed back soon.

I have to disagree there...I think 3G is plenty fast for video calls. Think of webcams being used on pc's with dial up back in the day.

But VZW is supposed to be releasing the Saygus V-Phone w/front facing video camera, right? And then there's the partnership w/ Skype.
 
Did anyone else notice that the testman site is all screwed up? The page does not have any deals on the main page. Is that something recent? Hopefully they are working on changing it to the incredible

I thought the streak had AT&T Frequencies?
 
yeah it cant be a front facin camera. someone wouldve noticed that a long time ago.. plus its not in the users guide. so yeah you guys can pretty much forget about that
 
I just spoke with the site owner and one of the writers and we'll have an article up shortly. If sites out there want to edit out the watermark so be it...they're jackasses.

not agreeing that it is a camera, but the user guide may have been a previous version, also it says at the bottom, "specs subject to change without notice" ..or something along those lines
 
So do we think that the Incredible could even just be flat-out RELEASED tomorrow? Any possibility? Or are we pretty sure it's just the release date announcement?

I only ask since I have the day off tomorrow. Would be nice...
 
I know i'm probably setting myself up here for an "I-Told-You-So"...but i'd like to see us bury a few topics that just send us on pages of wild goose chases...

1. Internal Storage...i know there are doubters and i'm pretty sure we've said it all on this topic. I think (and know! ;) but whatever) that there is 8GB of internal storage. Until we know more i think it's safe to say the horse has been sufficiently beaten.

2. Front facing camera. I'm not sure how else to say it other than THERE ISN'T ONE! If you've ever had a smartphone in the last two years you know those little holes are proximity and light sensors.

Just my 2 cents.

ABSOLUTELY NO WAY it will be released tomorrow...
 
I've been saying that for a couple of days now, tomorrow will just be the MS phones but maybe later in the week we'll get some leaks about the Incredible, or the Shadow I hope.
