Maybe it's like those magic pictures where you have to put your face really close, and then slowly back away from the screen. :)

Or one of those things where you look closely and hard, and then something pops out and scares the living bajeebees outta you.

As for the extended battery and the back cover. Generally the extended battery includes the required larger back cover. Just because the cover is available separately doesn't mean you must purchase both. I know they usually have the back covers available for purchase for whatever reason even if they do come with the battery.

It's the obligatory comment for any new information. He's messin with you.

haha oh thanks! no i trust him 100% we have been friends since about 3 years old. He has no reason to make up that kind of stuff with me. hes my wingman always there to take one for the team! haha

No I didnt ask but i did ask if i would be able to get it before my 4/22 trip to hawaii and he said that he highly doubts it and it would more than likely be the end of the month. he said to expect if around the 27-28 time frame but honestly did not know. he told me they are going to have a conference call on monday but didnt know who with or what about but it is normally something big (like a new high powered device). he said they had one with the droid and eris also.

Cool! Let us know what he says about the call!!! ;)

If it comes out at BB on the 29th and in Verizon stores on 5/13, I'm going to have to pay full price because I am only eligible for the annual upgrade. My NE2 doesn't kick in until July. BB won't give you the annual upgrade, correct?
i still dont get why the incredible would be at a best buy store before a Verizon store???!!!

Did anyone else notice that the testman site is all screwed up? The page does not have any deals on the main page. Is that something recent? Hopefully they are working on changing it to the incredible

No no no more testman stuff. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. haha

Not that this would be an exact fit, but since the Eris battery is also rated at 1300mAh I also was curious what Seidio was able to manufacture without changing the battery cover.

Innocell 1750mAh Slim Extended Life Battery

Which led me to the question of how much more you could expect out of an extra 450mAh? Worth the expenditure if this is the case for the Incredible as well?

We won't know until the phone is released and we see what we can get from the stock battery. Every phone's power needs are different. The only conclusion we can draw it that it will increase it.

Well said, can that be the final word about it?

cool ill try. im not here to start any rumor wars with how this place picks that stuff up! haha I am just excited of what i was told from someone that i know i can actually trust as opposed to just any joe at a vzw or other site. cause believe me i have pestered him about this phone since i first heard about it back in jan. on this forum. I was actually the one to first tell him about it! haha and not until about 2 weeks ago did he actually start ackknowledging that this phone even existed! I just thought i would share it. if that makes any sense.

Engadget just posted breaking news about the new crop of accessories for upcoming cell phone:

HTC EVO 4G to get boatload of accessories in Sprint stores -- Engadget

;)

I was just thinking... we all were aggravated with Verizon at some point about not releasing info about the Incredible, but I'm wondering how much money it's costing Spring with people holding out for the Evo now when it comes. Not to mention their current phones possibly not selling nearly enough, and then once the Evo releases, they'll have a surplus of phones, etc. that are in stock now. They should've (IMO) allowed a special trade-in to prevent customers to switching to Verizon or ATT if there is a phone that has similar specs to the Evo, with better coverage.

An example: Any phones purchased between the announcement of the Evo and the release of the Evo can be traded in for a certain percent with a 2 year contract. Phones purchased 4 months before release can be traded in for a 65% trade in value of the original purchase price. 3 months prior are worth 75% of original purchase price. 2 months = 85% and within a month, you can trade it in towards the Evo with their regular 30 day policy (if they have one).

That way they at least get people locked into a contract, instead of risk losing customers. Just had the idea and felt like posting it in my favorite thread :D

Bad joke I guess- I meant your friend was photoshopped.... You said to flame on- I was just taking you up on your offer...;)

No not a bad joke haha im just not a forum guy and have trouble catchin on to some of the lingo. but when i found out about this phone i have been addicted to this damn place! So i am on the same page now thanks!;)
