I been going for 12hrs trying to get this phone out airplane mode so I can have service. can someone please help me

the problem is somehow my meid got erased and its all zeros went to the boost store and they me my msl but it doesn't work because my meid has been change somehow need to change it back. did not back up my phone but one of those roms deleted my meid

update: after hrs of trying I finally got it with the help of a friend first off had to use cmda workshop to change some things. called boost for mdn and mdsid number, then ran zte warp update tool and wala phone is back to normal. thanks everybody for ur responses and help

Let's try this. Turn the phone off, pull the battery and sd-card. Let it sit for ten minutes or so. Put it all back together and try for recovery mode first. If you can get into recovery mode do a factory data reset. Always make a backup first, before rooting, flashing roms, etc. That doesn't help you right now, but it will later. Always make a backup.

EDIT: Recovery mode can be had by pressing the power button and volume up button at the same time, wait for the vibration then release.

Let's back up to the beginning. Exactly how did you do the newest update.
What rom did you flash and how did you do it.

By the way, that # is unique to your phone.
What is an MEID? A mobile equipment identifier, or MEID, is a unique number that identifies a wireless handset.

thanks for a reply the problem is my meid number is all zeros so how do I change it to the correct number

There are threads about this throughout the forums, but not for the Warp. The procedure should be the same for any phone...
Use CDMA Tool available at:

CDMA Tool. DFS software. www.cdmatool.com

Here is a walkthrough:

http://androidforums.com/samsung-vi...d-cdma-smartphones-maybe-gsm-devices-too.html

Keep in mind this is for a Samsung, so do NOT install Samsung drivers. You will need the ZTE drivers installed on your computer. Read completely before beginning.

Perhaps turning the radio off and making sure the radio is set to cdma(auto prl) in the phone information menu and then turning the radio back on can do the trick..... you can get the phone information menu a couple of ways... if you have adw or holo launcher you can make a custom shortcut to activities-> settings-> testing and then select phone information... there is also a code that you can dial in three dialer but I cannot recall it at the moment...
