I update the OP mainly with new releases etc etc, so discussion is ok with me in this thread. Now if a tried and trued method gets nailed down for the data thing, then by all means please start a separate thread for it. Prolly wouldnt be a bad idea to start a separate thread for that all together.

well I flashed the cab etc etc and wifes connect still has n mobile network, but has 4g data (stock), so I am in to try wtfe to fix it to stay out of the doghouse lol

I'm trying to hunt down the cause(s) for KO'ing radios so you can update your OP with a warning about it. I just need to know what, if anything was changed in settings, since I doubt it KO'd just being flashed and booted. I flashed 0309 several times without any issues and also KO'd my radio on the same build, of course this was after changing a lot of stuff around :)

I don't know for certain if using QPST to force a PRL helped me out here, maybe? I don't see how, IF QPST process in there DIDN'T do anything, flashing 5 different ROMs would magically make radio appear. xDieandGoX tried and said it didn't help, but said using MPCS hidden menu and SVC program kinda(?) worked.
 
Hey PG: Do you happen to have the Goddess' MIN and 6 digit MSL?

Before you jump to another firmware: Phone app> ##626* > Service Prg. menu

Does first screen after Service Prg show legit IMEI and ESN? Yes? Hit OK and see if it's all zeros or blank for your MDN, edit if needed. Next will be MIN. After filling MIN, click the back key and phone will reboot. See if that works

too late, just fixed it by flashing the VV4 cab. ;)
 
Strange how that didn't work for me. Mine came back after QPST session and VV3. Hmmm... thinking of murdering my radio once again and trying VV4 immediately after to confirm it worked for me as well. Now that you have VV4, root exploits won't work. Flash VV3 or less and you're back in VIP status ;)
 
I went by this with this file and did a factory reset after it was finished(not that I had a choice... it was bootlooping lol).

Oh the baseband on vv4 is SW_VER 1 [Sep 8 2012 12:34:54]

You can't. Flash VV3 or less back to the phone.... And since you threw VV4 on it, root will not work on any firmware until you do a data wipe, found that out the hard way :D
 
i had sucess with getting my signal back and data using the kdz flasher yes it took me 3 times but it did work i have flashed back to CM10 and i have a signal was able to dial out *228 and update sucessfully but since it is not activated i cant comment on the data part just yet

DIaling *228 will do you no good without the MPCSHiddenMenu.apk since that is what they try to access. We need to find a way to port it over. If Metro can successfully program our phones while on CM10, I think that would fix all of our problems.
 
I unfortunately have not had a chance to test this out yet (due to fear of losing my ability to call, etc.), however I did have an idea that I would hope one of you would be willing to test. Right before you flash to CM10 take out your SIM card and then place it back in once you have completed flashing CM10. It's just an idea, but sometimes the weirdest suggestions end up working ;)

Just wanted to also give a big THANK YOU (once again) to PG and all those brave souls who are testing this! Without everyone, there would be not hope of getting anything past GB on our phone
 
Nothing to be afraid of when trying to program your phone directly through Metro. If anything, it can only do you good. They have all the right things to get it working. It will fail though if you try from CM10.

And.. That is not a bad idea.

The key to it is to do right after flashing vv3 back completely from stock, make sure you can make calls and have data, then root your phone and install CWM, take out the SIM card, and then flash CM10. It may work, who knows.

Hey y'all sorry I past the flip out in the middle of watching justified but anywayz all I changed while on cm10 was the things everybody else was changing trying to get the "1x" going like adjusting the home net to home only then switching the evdo/cdma around from auto to not auto to the one w/lte and the ruim/sid- (I think thats the right letters)-nv and I left it not on nv but the other b4 I went back to #2 just like I did b4 the latest update. I basically did exactly the same with the previous cm10 v.010 and had no problems switching back to #2. But I have downloaded the cab/kdz zip. and will give it a shot in the a.m. after I drop my kid off at school and report back my sucess or failure for yall. Thx for the help and input as I wasnt gonna wait on metro to handle it cause I trust this community more than them to fix any problem I may have with this phone or any phone. Thx again and I'll holla at y'all in the morning. Night yall
 
So far yesterday I was able to flash back to VV3 using sammyz recovery method and data came back all 3 times. I flashed CM10 0312 three times yesterday just to test out if VV3 would give me data back and it wrkd all 3 times, strangely enough this didnt wrk for some other ppl here :confused:

Update:
I remember reading something about in order to get CM10 (JB) to work they had to flash back to stock, update the modems using Odin then flashed CM10. We are not the only ones going through this, just about everone went through this or is going through the same data issue after flashing CM10, if you google about losing data after flashing CM10 you will see a crap load of links talking about it.
 
Ok guys, i give up :mad: I CANNOT KILL MY RADIO!! I've tried everything! Changing setting after setting, rebooting, going ZVA, JB, ZVA, JB, ZVA, JB, flashing GAPPS, wrecking MIN, MDN, PRL in phone settings..... Damn, I've been trying like hell to find out WTF you guys are doing with JB to make it kill off your radios! I managed to do it once already myself! Wanted to test VV4 and see if that was sure-fire radio fix for the guys who broke it, but guess not LOL!!

I see Schempp came back to life with VV3, awesome bro! So, PLEASE guys let me know if any of you CANNOT revive your radio, even with VV3/4 so I can use you as a guinea pig!!! Please HMU up on Google Talk if you can help, same username as my AF handle :D:D:D

@JGarcia, I have another idea in case you are still stuck with no 4G, E-mail, GT or PM me here :D

The next step is getting CM10 to read the ICC card. I think that's the only thing holding us back from 4G data, but as to why some of you have 1x and most don't (I happen to be one of the unlucky ones), I don't know. It will happen :D Everything works great on CM10, we're so close. 1x, 4G and front camera are the only things that aren't working yet :)
