ok, so i'm getting worried...my 30 days is up on May 2nd. So, does this mean I can get the phone on the 29th? Or should I return my droid and hold out?

And for all you mean people, I didn't get the droid to "trade it" for the incredible. I didn't find out about the incredible until a few days after i got the droid. k?

I have to say...it would've been fun if they had put the release date on the phone screen. Little details, but hey....if not for the little details, what are we here for!? :)

Also, I don't think they would say "Incredible" coming soon if they were going to rename it. I'm surprised they didn't as HTC seems to always change the name (or the carrier?) when announced. Though I guess if I had bet money on it I could argue that it is now the "Droid Incredible", which is too long of a name imo.
 
The thing is, someone could be just F'ing with this thread. I mean what were we saying right before it got updated.

Someone could be laughing their asses off right now. I don't think that's true, but if I was a VZW employee and I was allowed to do that, I just might.

We are not idiots. The first Verizon link did not have a date on it, just the date on the phone. They just updated the link about 5-10 minutes ago adding the date and changing the name from the HTC Incredible to the Droid Incredible. Lighten up.
 
I would be VERY surprised if there wasn't a press release today. They gave up their release date on a PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE testing site. It's not like this information came from a Verizon employee posting something from their Intranet.

I think you misread my comment. I don't believe it's a scam. I was able to logo onto my account from that page. It's 100% legit in my mind. My point was that the OP knows more than he's saying AND/OR he's here from VZW since he's so new and treating the faithful to a little nibble. Either way, I wanted a release date and if he had it I wanted to know what it was. I made that post PRIOR to the site being updated. NOW, I'm satisfied :D.
 
htc_incredible_phone.jpgI noticed in the picture to the left of the Verizon logo 2 lighter circles. Since the one video (the original leaked bad quality one) and the user guide show the indicator LED to the right of the verizon logo, is it possible that this could be a camera on the front for video conferencing noone has known about yet? HTC has installed this feature this in the past with the Touch Pro I believe.
