Root Is ICS possible on this phone..

I Know it is a big step so far...but could this phone run it?

Sure it can, I've seen phone's worse running ICS. But of course Coolpad won't release an update, our only hope is the dev community, but as you know there aren't any devs for this phone.

Don't have hope in this phone.. the community is very small too.

Maybe we can follow this guide, change our device name, and at least run nova launcher with the jb icons for the moment? Since it's only for ics?

Um... Nova is compiled to run on 4.0+ (Ics)

So you can download it all you want but... it wont install.

Well Holo Launcher is the closest you'll get to the ICS feel

Yea it is actually...running it right now and it's pretty smooth...i uninstalled the stock one just because it sucked that bad...

if you uninstall the stock launcher can you reinstall it?

Just make sure you back it up with titanium backup if you don't like Holo launcher

I didn't uninstall my stock launcher, but I did freeze it in link2sd.
