wait wait wait so flashing this rom would overwrite the current kernel the same way Spz's OA does? so say i was on CM7 or stock++ which of course uses repq's kernel. then i flash CTMod, the rom includes the Spz's kernel so it would overwrite Req's? Thats correct right?

Yep thats the gist of it yes... :)
 
man I really wanna give this rom a try but my Admire doesnt take custom kernels well. it doesnt take them bad either but with heavy use it cause me phone to reboot itself. Spz0's and Req's kernel gave me that issue though Spz0's was a lot more stable and less frequent. I would try that new reworked kernel by Pressy4pie but I dont want my Admire exploding xD

CTMod includes voltage control.... to help your admire from exploading.... remember to make a back up....

Edit: Pressy4pie's kernel works on CTMod....
 
Yo the theory was rite I flashed dis rite over oa n everything work perfectly n I also updated boat thru the app n data is great n anybody having market problems u kan try dis: after flashing rom n mms fix,reboot fone then sign n to Gmail after dat go str8 to playstore n load it for only 2secs n back out of it the pop up asking to accept da terms shood still pop up on your home screen accept then do anything except go back to da play store!after about 15-30 min go into settings>manage applications look for da play store app n your downloaded apps not system! Once u see da play store (shood b about 10mbs)in your downloaded apps lists voila! Now u can download from da play store till your fingers fall off if day don't work follow op's instructions! :D
 
Cogra dis rom mixed wit press y's kernel is da doo-doo!! Now if u man bake mobile AP into it I have a feeling everyone will get on dis kuz dats da only thing oa has day no other rom has great work :D
 
Da best part about dis rom is dat after downloading my Google apps n restoring my user apps which is about 30 I still have over 105mbs of memory left also used links2sd on ext4 dis rom is awesome! :D

Aw freak in sweeet!!!! Dats da only thing oa had over other roms u got toggles n da status bar which is hot plus speed out dis world all u need is mobile AP dats it bra n I lef a nice question n your either thread about ginger snap if u get a moment n between making these kick a** roms check it out

Mobile AP is a build in Wifi hotspot feature on the phone. It shares your phone connection so other devices can connect to the net. no extra charges on your bill. It was only on the Genetic no carrier version of admire 2.3.6 . There is a few roms that have this mobile AP.

That is the plan. If I remember correctly I could not find the .apk to extract it using file manager. So the feature must be in the kernel or else where on that version of the phone.
 
It must b different groom rom to rom kuz in oa, I saw it n da framework apk written as an XML file
