what you speak of the line in the build prop: ro.tether.denied=true and changing it to ro.tether.denied=false

OA however does not have that line included in its build prop

I do not know how Spz how the mobile hotspot to work for OA but I can only assume he used the Generic update that hard bricked many Admires. Hotspot is included in our phones but it is title Sprint Hotspot but in OA its just Mobile AP. So Im at a loss as to Spz0 got it working. Its definitely not an apk. it has to be some sort of combination between .xml and framework.jar, at least in my guess

Is there anything special I need to do to fix my mms? Do I need to flash this before the first boot? I flashed after booting into the rom once.

First install rom... mount system and data... install mms fix in first post... reboot... open play store... install apn backup and restore... open... install mps apns... PROFIT... :)

ok im pretty sure i know the answer to this but idk anything about apns so to be sure.. i have 2 files here, oa-metropcs-apn-fix.xml and ct-mod-mms-fix.xml, i choose the ct-mod one right?

well my process was, my first flash of the mms fix, im not sure if system&data were mounted, so i went and reflashed the fix. then i went into apn backup&restore and clicked restore apn and used the ct-mod file. that would be an acceptable process right?

btw Cobra you might want to put flashing instructions on how to properly flash everything in the OP. seems everyone doesnt seem to know how to do it and they dont care to read previously made posts either.

oh i never knew to flash twice but i fixed the market error by clearing data for market&google framework then clearing cache&dalvik in recovery.... and idk what the problem was the first time, but mms works like a charm now! thanks!
