To me it's a bit sad I actually LOVE the Pre and I really hope palms next phone rivals the EVO. Don't get me wrong I'm still getting the EVO :) I just don't think android is the greatest for the average consumer.
 
HTC buying Palm just makes so much sense. It would solve so many problems. Thats why I don't think it will happen. :(

Yup. I have the 720mhz kernel on my Pre and it makes all the difference. Very little lag now. If Palm used the Snapdragon chipset, a lot of the complaints would not exist.

I hate to rain on that parade, but unfortunately, this might not be a good comparison for the Evo. HTC HD2 runs on T-Mobile, who uses GSM technology, and Sprint is obviously CDMA (and WiMAX, which we don't know the battery usage of). Devices running over CDMA have higher battery usage than those running over GSM.

Ugh. This is the only phone that I have ever been this stuck on. Does anyone know how to induce a coma for two months until this thing releases? I swear I would be more productive that way... This forum has sucked me in with all of the great info - thanks everyone!

Basically everything that I've stated already.

I hope everything turns out okay for you guys tomorrow, but from the internal documents I'm reading, tomorrow might not happen. I'm only stating this, because I could see the Sprint bashing aftermath when it happens. This is one of the most friendly, family-like forums I've seen, so I want you guys to remain humble. The phone isn't out yet, because they want to make sure their flagship device doesn't get the Tour 9630 and Pre labels when it comes to early build quality.

Anyway, peace forums. I'll be back in May.

Well stop me if I'm wrong but, isn't T-Mobile a sponsor to the Transformers movies something like a partnership thing. Now I don't want to be a Buzz Killington and I hope that the EVO will come with preloaded movies. Does anybody know if Sprint was in the big screen?
