I'm so glad I can pre-order this thing on Monday. So when I pre-order we can expect to have them on release day right? Maybe earlier if FedEx screws up Anyway I'm so amped I'm having trouble doing my Networking homework Thanks for the great info as always and EPIC 500th post!

The YOU has to do with HTC's advertising. They stress YOU in all their commercials.

Someone back in the days mentioned the 19th so the insiders here really knew the whole time. Made my day, actual confirmed phone info and the whole page is about just the phone, what a concept. Thanks insiders!

Quick question about pre-ordering. Do they send it to you on the launch date or do you pick it up at a store?

Also, how do you go about transferring contacts, pictures from your old phone?

You can keep your same number assuming you are a current verizon customer I am assuming?

Their commercials are all about YOU. What YOU want out of a phone, etc. It's to line up with their other marketing.

At this point I would like to hear what BB and VZW CSR's have to say about the best method to physically have this phone in my hands on the 29th...

Can I go into VZW on the 19th and "preorder" so that I can pick it up from VZW on the 29th?.. which actually sounds more like reserving than preordering...

Should I show up early and stand at the front door waiting for open on the 29th?

Read the highlighted portion of the launch package that says "Pre-order on April 19th, 2010 on the web and will launch in All Channels on April 29th, 2010."

I think that should answer your question.

Mine too, I believe this has to do with how expensive your plan is. I think since I'm not a data user, I don't get bumped up into the $100 discount tier.

I was told that the NE2 discount was lowered from $100 to $50.

It can be pre-ordered online before it's available in the stores. That's the way it usually worked before.
