Unless you set your router to only broadcast in N you should be fine. Usually it broadcasts in B/G/N by default

There have been two stories to this floating around this massive thread. If it is pre-ordered, is it delivered on release day? Some say reps have said release day, and others have said release day +1. I hope it's release day (they would overnight it on the 28th) so you'd have it on the 29th.
I think we should accept the fact that this is only going to be 801.11 b/g. No n. The UG must have been a typo because every other doc says only b/g. Plus, it was only certified for b/g.

That depends. If it is MiMo then yes, the Router can broadcast in both N & B/G. If no, then it can only broadcast in one or the other. All Wireless N Routers are backwards compatible with prior revisions of the protocol.
When you sign up for the preorder the email you are sent states YOU WILL GET IT ON THE 29th.
Why not mention that or the FM radio, though? Two key points for differentiation and missed in their press release? Did the same people that put the manual together provide the spec data for the presser??
The dark and negative side would suggest that it is an 8gb microsd and the reason the HTC release does not show it is that it is not part of the bill of material (added by Verizon). Also no FM radio, either.
Still, two main features missed and one being a biggie (8gb)? Bad marketing, BAD!

As the last few posts explain the 8 gb storage is there and talked about. The launch package that Anon posted lists FM Radio capable -wired headphones required. Sorry to shine on your rainy parade, but the stuff is there. Maybe you can post some dread-filled posts about 720p or wireless N to fill empty that now filled space inside of you.

Yeah +$70. That's exactly the route I want to take. The way phone technology evolves, there will be something incredibly better than the Incredible next summer.
Yes. Because your router doesn't just put out a 802.11n signal. It'll still put out 802.11 b/g signals. All is well!

So I'm not eligible for an upgrade until 5/12, is it possible to somehow order this phone a few days earlier so it arrives at my house on my upgrade date? Getting to VZW can be a pain in the behind and I'd like to just do it online if at all possible.
