She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.....
I don't know why she swallowed the fly....

Perhaps she'll die....

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.

Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford."

Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford."

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the "kicker":

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

AND...................:

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse...

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater...
I saw this had to share just in case anyone did not know.

Looks like they were simply nit picking and blowing that off but all the while saying yeah the majority of this is true.

Nah.. unless nitpicking is selecting a few coincidences and mixing them in with lies.

Lincoln's secretary was John Nicolay and his assistant was John Hay. No biography of Lincoln mentions a Kennedy.

John Wilkes Booth was from Maryland. Born in 1838.

There are lots more.. as a matter of fact, we can all work on any two presidents who died in office and come up with similar lists.. all we have to do is mix b.s. with a fact or three, throw in some coincidence and we've got "weirdness" or whatever we want to call it. ;)

Why are women, who have the most important jobs in the world in bearing and raising the next generation of youths, always get the short end of the stick? (Upon reading a New Yorker article) Really makes me hate men even more.

Why do women complain so much?

J.K. :p

I have this philosophy, and if you really think about it for a while, I bet you'll agree:
Almost all women are crazy, and almost all men are stupid.

I honestly believe this to be true.

I can't fully agree with you Reverend. :o

I know a ton of sane women and knowledgeable men. Problem is.. when a sane woman meets an immature man he makes her crazy and when a knowledgeable man meets a crazy woman he gets made feel stupid constantly.

They always say.. misery loves company.

Perhaps hating half the world's population isn't the best mindset to have when raising kids.

I'm a man and was for years a single parent. I especially enjoyed being called a weekend father by total strangers who were clueless and my favorite was when I took my 14 year old daughter to dinner and she was accused by the woman at the next table for being a slut for dating an older man, reducing her to tears for days.

The view from that horse is no doubt pretty good, but for your own sake as well as others around you, it might be time to get out of the saddle. Plus, you'll avoid a nosebleed from the altitude. :D ;)

It's just expensive and I don't think I'll be a good mother

Says who? Why would you think that?

I started my family from $20 and will power. Never knew what I was getting in to. If you put your mind to it you'll be fine. And for future reference.. As soon as you see your child's heart beat you know you'll do anything and everything for em. I promise. Life changes when you have a kid. Mostly for the better.

Plus it helps you to get rid of that pesky habit of sleeping all night. :D

Wait. You didn't defend your daughter?

Wait. You didn't defend your daughter?

What do you think?????? I don't even know how you got there! :D

I took my daughter from the scene of the hurt, as she was broken and wanted to go.

I did make the opportunity to get just a moment with the woman and husband out of earshot of everyone. That moment was enough.

Every dad here knows what went down, I won't elaborate further. ;) :)

You were probably nicer than I would have been.
