Today is a great day! Can't tell you how excited I am. I'm still on a Palm Centro....

Question: Wasn't there a photo or some info about a desktop dock for the incredible about a week or two ago? I swear I remember seeing it, but now I can't find anything about a desktop dock for Incredible. There is all sorts of info about the car dock (ugly as hell IMO), but nothing on the desktop dock.... If anyone has a link or any info to share, I'd be appreciative!

Well, I think I still have to go to Verizon to have my contacts transferred. I have the Omnia which is a windows mobile os. I have everything backed up to MyPhone thru microsoft but I don't see a way to transfer them to gmail.

I don't know if the Google Sync app is available for WM, but it has been a lifesaver on my BB for contacts and calendars.

Why don't you download Google Sync? It works perfectly...

Can't you sync your contacts with Outlook the export them to a csv file and import to gmail?

I was going to suggest these exact things. I think with a (very) little bit of digging you can have your contacts imported into Gcontacts. Also, you might check. I know that they can import mail from some other providers like Yahoo, check and see if contacts from MS is an option. But they do allow import of contacts in several different file formats if the Sync won't work. But I'd bet it will & will be easy.

question for anyone who can answer: where is the best place to buy the incredible?

amazon, wirefly, best buy, or verizon store/online/phone?

i want to figure where the best price would be. i would like to get some accessories like a case and perhaps an extended battery.

I am verizon customer whos contract ended a week ago. does that make me a new one or go with a renewal price.

any help figuring these things ut would be great

New customer and renewal price after 20 months is the same. Plus you probably have a NE2 available of some amount.

This maybe be an easy choice for some but I need some swaying!! Does anyone have a side-by-side comparison between the droid incredible and the evo? I also have concerns about the Sprint 3G network's performance. I don't have 4G in my area. That is really why I'm liking this "Incredible" phone And I've heard good things about verizon network. aaaahhhh which one. I wish we had more info on the EVO. ie pricing.... Love what HTC is putting out these days. Keep it up

Anon, NO WORRIES about the tech difficulties. I'm just so excited to see the words desk dock there giving me hope it will be available at launch that I'm thrilled. You rock. We'll be patiently (ok, well that's probably stretching it...) waiting till you can get it fixed but you're doing a TON of work on this for us and we all appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

Sure, if you wanna catch hell when the buyer realizes that you sold them a phone that they can't activate..

Verizon will have the ESN on file for both phones. When he tries to activate them, the authorities will go after him probably for stolen goods, he'll give you up, & you'll go away for fraud, etc. Don't be that guy.

Hey everyone, been busy the last few days. Haven't had time to read over all the pages but they have officially announced the HTC Droid Incredible in our systems. Tons of accessories for it too. Pricing is still not there, but you guys will like to know this... (again, sorry if it was posted before)
