A few questions for those using this rom.

What's the procedure to take a regular (non-landscape) photo with the REAR camera?

Does it use the built in camera app?

Does the flash work?

Finally, are all the regular camera settings (size, exposure settings etc...) working?

Flash works...you can use the built in camera app no third party app needed...to take rear pic just open the camera app and it will be on rear camera already.
 
oops I meant a standard photo NOT "Panoramic"

It only could do panoramic initially, but it takes regular photos now and
auto focus works?

I'll be flashing that to my phone tonight if thats the case.
 
Yes, both front and rear cameras are working splendidly. Only thing it can't do now is record video. So it'll take panorama, landscape, portrait, self-photos, display in preview correctly, the whole 9 yards.
 
Does anyone know whether Skype works for video calls? I think I read in one of these threads that Skype THINKS it works (like, it's aware the camera's there), but I wondered if anyone had a chance to try that out yet.

I think I'm half hoping that that is not quite the same as 'recording video', ha-

Edit: disregard, I notice that there was some luck with this elsewhere here! So I'll try it myself and report back as well.

Edit #2: Appears to work great, for the curious!
 
Just flashed newest pa. My rear camera is oriented wrong even when I rotate the phone. Also, it doesn't switch to front. Any help?

Try a full fresh flash. Don't restore any apps or anything. Just wipe, flash the ROM, flash the gapps that BSydz made and reboot. After you have your phone set up, reboot one more time and check the camera.
