i only did this because some people were having sever errors and empty zip when downloading the file so i just made sure they could actually get the file. besides this is my personal dropbox and i have only shared it in this thread.

I admire your restraint, I'd probably have left the new car in the living room of the foreclosed house.. let them get them both at once.
 
i tried making a few phone calls, and there was no volume whatsoever in
the calls. lol. the data seems to be running full speed, and the rom is going
smooth though

While I believe I understand your reasoning, it shows a huge lack of respect and appreciation to consciously, and deliberately, ignore a request of a dev in regards to hosting his work..

There is a difference between sending a dropbox link to someone in a pm, and publicly posting that link.

I'm sure part of the reason Bobz doesn't want mirrors posted is that this a work under development, and out of date mirrors can hinder that, as people will be reporting issues that have been fixed in the most current build.
 
ive mentioned this before i believe not only here but everywhere! always ask the dev! a couple of pages back he asked for someone to take it down. do as he says before u have him leave and not have a working cm10 rom. this should become a rule.

Thank you, I couldn't have said it any better.

Again, please take down all public links that are not point to my uploads or I will stop sharing my work. I don't ask a lot...I only ask that people not port my roms(making patches for it is ok) and not to post links of my rom that I did not upload.

well phone calls can be made but you can't hear rthe other person nor can they hear you it reboots as well, 4g works, no sound from ringer and notification tones when selecting, brightness works. can't change i/o wallpaper is bugged wont load (cm) that's all so far

That is incorrect, I had echo no matter what headset I used. only when headsets were used by both partys, sometimes echos would be gone, and people on land lines, poor guys, had the echo the worst

I understand that you were only trying to help and I personally thank you for your effort but BobzHome (and most other devs) don't like their ROMs being hosted even if its to help. I could give you reasons why but that'd be boring to read. We have a good thing here; a dev working on CM10 and the community and I has waited a lot before this was even remotely possible. So I ask as a member to please take down the link, even if it makes no sense to you why , next time just ask Bobzhome if you can host the ROM until he got his link working. I'm sure he won't attack you for trying to help :p.
 
So i flashed CM10 from the Aroma Collab rom. I have the same problems as alot of the people here. My 4G doesnt work. i did a speed test and my results were extremely low. so im pretty sure the whole it reads 1x but runs 4g thing isnt the case for me. also im having the wallpaper selecting issue as well. and a lot of force closes. if anyone know of any way to fix please help. ive been reading the thread and didnt find anything yet. im using the 4-28 build. and also Bobz thanks alot for all the work along with all of the other people who helped. the rom is amazing. works perfect except these three things. and even with them not working ill continue to use it. this is what i added to the buld.prop that seems to have fixed the crashes

dalvik.vm.heapminfree=512k

it was placed at the bottom of "stock_build_properties" it was in the build.prop from 4-22 but was removed from 4-28

ok sooo... how do i do this haha. sorry. i havent really done much with phones since the last phone i had was a samsung admire. ha
