well i managed to get sensors / rotation working in ics.. but 3g will never work in ics. so jellybean it is. ill have a cm10 beta for ya'll in a few.. not much changed, and iam sorry :( i need more help with this. wifi is still kinda finicky, bt iam not sure, usb needs to be finished backporting, camera is up in the air.

on the good side. the rom is 1000% more stable. we will continue to strive to get these things working in jb untill the last surviving warp dies . please bare with me.

Why wouldn't ics be able to get 3g? Just curious here.

Its not that it will never work... Its just we'd go through the super long process of refixing it... No one really even knows exactly what we did to fix it on jb... Other than switch files it was more luck than anything if I remember correctly
 
Bring it on guys!! Were here!! :D There aren't many of us left, but we still have lot's of hope and support for ya!! :D I was about to move on, but a financial setback happened, I will be sticking with the Warp for a while now,:p Probably until the very end of it's life on the forums!!:p

Sorry to hear about the setback... but good to see another Warp user in for the long haul!

Viva la warp we shall take over the world. Been here since this past august and I am proud to say how I have watched the warp scene grow. We may be a little warped for sticking with this phone. But if we weren't a lil crazy we all wouldn't get along so well.

while wifi, camera, etc. would be nice they certainly aren't deal breakers by any means. my only concern has been having to use speaker phone for phone calls at all times. that is the only reason I've gone back to noob and gotten excited every time there is a post in the thread. regardless no clue what that entails. really appreciate your hard work and efforts on your own time.

I agree except
i need wifi (i hit throttling in 10-12 days without it)
Having a camera is good too because it keeps me from carrying a seperate camera.

The having to use speaker phone doesnt bother me because i do that almost all the time now as my ear speaker crackles so bad i can hardly tell what people say.

I know exactly why it works in jb and not ics.. the slight diff in qualcommsharedril.java

We need to work on the jb one so it sees the carrier like the ics one does. Between the 2. We should get a perfect working ril class. The line && skipCdmaSubscrition make it work in jb. But it doesnt have the operaror info like ics. I can add those 15 lines or so to it

Jeez... I feel left in the dark... I couldn't make much sense of all of the ril crap back when we were working on it... Seems you did
 
Just thought I'd pipe in to say I am still here and my Warp is not going anywhere! Just got used to not having to charge my phone for 2+ days with the extended batteries I bought. Loving it! lol
I would still love to see you succeed bringing JB to the Warp thought, and wish I could do more. On that note I have an extra LCD for the Warp that is brand new and just sitting here thanks to BestBuy giving me a new phone. Do any devs here need one?

i think jet needs one.

on that note, wifi should be fixed. i talked to belfish and he told / showed me how to setup libhardware_legacy for libra wifi... which is what loads the drivers / firmware

since WiFi and Bluetooth are on the same chip does that put us any closer to having functional bluetooth?

it might, i made some other changes for serial number and stuff that i havent been able to test yet... but that all depends on serial no and usb .. so iam going for g_android (usb fix)
