Root [Boost Mobile] [ OSIRIS ] Happy Valantines Day, Heres A Little Gift.. Sugar Kang ( Jellybean 4.1.2 )

Ok I found some Chinese phone that uses the ov5640 camera and has cm10 with working camera.
I downloaded the rom from it and ripped into it.
The thing has libcamera_client.so & libcameraservice.so but not libcamera.so.

What's the phone... I'll search foe a dev tree

Sorry I can't remember that's why I said some Chinese phone.
I do remember it had a 1.5ghz dual core processor. The page I found was at least 60% Chinese.

Did you look into the TF101? The rear camera is the ov5640.

I don't know if this helps any or not but as I was searching I found a custom jb kernel for the Acer a100 that had /include/media/ov5640.h correct me if I'm wrong but if you can find the source to a ROM running this kernel that has a functioning camera it would have the libcamera.so we need?

In android. There are basicly 2 sets of drivers. Kernel drivers. Which I have already updated most of them to 3x versions. And then hal drivers.. ( hardware abstraction layer ) lib camera us seperate from the kernel. Its part of the android hal . Same with the sensors / rotation

Rebuilt may possibly work.. but source is best lol

Started tearing into Konstats blade libcamera..
it was only ov5642, very close to ov5640.. changed some things around. used warps msm_camera.h, lets see what happens

However, i did makse some more progress last night, changed some more libhardware_legacy defines, Switched to WPA Supplicant 8 from 6, network connections are quicker and more stable.. also. now cm10 sees the baseband as it should :)

Lol. Ambivalence. I don't know whether to think that's messed up or do a backflip. So its working well minus camera and blue tooth? I can deal with that. Either way... sick!
