Jonny, when i flashed your CM10 it just factory resets. what can i do to prevent this? *fixed it, just vol down+power*

Oh, and there is no root, and is there another way to install apps that will actually install?
How can i root it?

my cm10 doesn't work it was just a trial effort. if your talking about cm 10.1 then apps won't install at the moment but you can unzip rom and place apps in /system/app then flash and they will work. cm10.1 is in early development
 
BTW peoples....i put my LG Motion up on Craigslist....$50 :\ i know it's selling for $50 brand new right now...but i can't afford to take the loss....so if any of you want a dev phone...lemme know...i'll ship it for free
 
Well...I sold it for $40 to a moron off craigslist :-P..it was nice working with you guys and getting to know a few of you...I'll peek in from time to time But as far as MetroPCS is concerned I am finished..finally :-)

You're on T-Mobile right???
If you ever use LTE while on T-Mobile, just remember it belongs to MetroPCS ;)

So long. So what're your plans now, phone wise?
 
i figure this will come up again when theres a new cm10 release so i took the liberty of making a flashable of pg's mms.apk and both recoveries with aroma installer.
i was bored so i also made a flashable of facebook home, also with aroma installer
you have to uninstall your facebook and fb messenger apps before flashing this.

i used the java app here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859221 to create the flashables. it's easy and does everything automatically unless you want to install somewhere other than /system/app or /data/app then you would just have to edit the updater script like i did for the recovery.tar to extract to appropriate folder.

It used to? Really?..what about the LTE that was launched almost a year ago? :-P that wasn't Metro's LTE...

IDGAF about the LTE I just care about having coverage wherever I go and being able to send and receive text messages in a timely manner :-P

This is an LGContacts3.apk I've done some work on. The changes are minor, but considering I'm doing it from my device this is the best i got. Could use some help with the backgrounds and matching all the other icons since I have no computer. I prefer my device tp be fully color coordinated. Lol

are there any good metro phones with unlocked bootloader?
