Root lg motion root lounge and discussion

i've found that backups made under one recovery can't be restored under another.:( that's why i switched my recovery to the one from cm10.1 so i would be ready when the day comes to switch.
 
adb shell
cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/your-backup
rm nandroid.md5
md5sum *img > nandroid.md5

;)

Edit: correct me if that doesn't work.

Hey playfulgod, why cant i make any calls with ur newest cm10 build for lg motion. Thats the only thing i can find that dont work

Edit: the ROM is almost perfect. I'd say about 95% perfect. The backlight, low call volume, incorrect 4g data info displayed, and buggy GPS are keeping me from using this as a daily driver. But I'm constantly switching back and forth between this and stock.

the reason for this is because i do not want my girlfriend getting pissed at me for buying the N4 with my Amazon credit and not getting US a TV or something... :PI will be eternally grateful for this!

hey...she doesn't understand my techie needs and wants :P

and i had almost $400 in amazon credits...i know she would have been like "oh WE need this and this and this"...it's free $$...i'd rather spend it on something i can't usually afford :P

And most girlfriends don't understand. More like I need this phone LOL... Train 'em early, Mr. Armyman cuz it will pay off later in marriage. My Premia was an 'advance father's day gift' and the Motion I bought was a spontaneous purchase as well. She ended up loving her Motion, lucky me :D:D No eggshells underfoot here bwahahaha
 
well since i started with Android phones i've always been on the low end of the devices...it's about time i get a top end device :)

meanwhile i'll be helping test stuff with my motion :P
 
i'm either going to go with P.A. or AOKP....i've tried both on my nook color and i love the UI tweaks...i do believe there is a PACrom available too...which would be the best option IMO
 
@plastic, yes there's many choices, but the best rom i use for my n7 is P.a.c man rom. its all 3 in one, or get multi rom on your n4

You in the Dallas area? We're gettin' em too. Playing havoc with mommy internet access tonight. I have clear for my internet and it's going in and out. For that matter, so's my Metro 4G. :mad:

Edit: as I was typing this, I lost 4G and my phone went to EV (3G) :banghead:
